I'm both enjoying my day off from work, and researching for a previously-mentioned smuggler / pirate story.

I just thought y'all would enjoy some of my research.

Actually yes, there are pirates in my story.

Some of these older history subjects are very hard to research. I've spent a lot of time studying, and almost bought several books for the same purpose. Let me know if you find some good articles.

These are very helpful, especially for someone who is writing about pirates in their novel etc.

Meh, if you really want it. It's less of a WIP than a PIW (Progress In Writing). It's mostly just a funny story to send to my cousins, who are the inspiration for the characters.
