If something becomes and unhealthy obsession, I do try to distance myself a bit until things get under control again. Some of my unhealthy obsessions:

- binge watching Korean dramas or anime
- being the Internet
- worrying/stressing out about things
- overthinking everything past/present/future

Well. Doctor Who. And Deep Breath comes out on Saturday!!! (by the way, where did the DW thread go when the forums were merged? i can't find it....) Sherlock is probably also an obsession, but I prefer to think of it as an interest in detection - considering as I read his cases when I was seven, that actually might be correct.... Also, any mystery shows, writing, researching, fantasy, mythology, Stargate in general, Doctor Who, classical books, folk music, instrumental music, Murray Gold's certain soundtracks, singing, opera, Shakespeare, linguistics, trivia, friends, knowledge, Doctor Who...

I think it's safe to say the Doctor Who is my greatest obssession - which is entirely the internet's fault because otherwise I would never have heard of it.

But still. Perfectly healthy.

Numb3rs. Still. Seriously. I cannot get this show out of my head. It's bad. I mean, it's not even like the best show in the world or even really my favorite. I like it. Certain parts I like a lot. But...but I'm obsessing over it and that's no good at all.

I have LOST SLEEP over this show and certain character/plot developments which happened in Season 3 and how on earth they are possibly going to FIX THINGS in Season 4.

I got to go see the new Doctor Who in theater and coming out of the theater I wasn't like “Oooh, I think Twelve is going to be wonderful” or “Oooh, I love Clara and Straax” or even “Hmm, now let me contemplate the various aspects and pros and cons of the new series and this episode in particular.” I was just like “Ohhhhh, Colby!!” I swear this is not healthy or normal or sane.

There. I'm done ranting. Now you have an idea what it's been like in my head for the past week and a half.
