Thank you :) I've read the blog before and I've been getting back into writing so I decided to join.

I love fantasy and historical fiction primarily, although lately I've been on a dystopian kick. And I love to write, primarily in those three genres. I've started far more "stories" than I've finished, mainly because my creativity gets ahead of me. Thanks for the welcome! :)

Welcome to the forums! Love the name and the username :) Well we have our own Historical Fiction writer here who recently released A Mighty Fortress. The Historical Fiction section is rather quiet but we can always use more activity! :D

I'm new here myself! Joined the forums just last week! I probably sound like a newb, but if you don't mind my asking, what exactly is dystopian? I've never heard it before.

@Jonathan, I really like a variety...I would have to go with Ted Dekker as a favorite, but I also love Sir Walter Scott, the Divergent series (Veronica Roth), Bryan Davis, and a bunch of others.

I like Ted Dekker, too. What are your favorite books by him? I haven't read the Divergent series or any of Bryan Davis's books yet, but I want to. They look good.
