Random fact: When I was little I would always hold onto my head when I went outside so it wouldn't fly off. Or so they tell me. I don't remember.

Random fact: I also used to sing as high as I possibly could until I was literally squeaking unintelligibly, just because I could.

Random fact: As of this afternoon, I am now fully licensed to drive anywhere, anywhen, with anywho I choose.

...My first high school voted for students to receive Fruit of the Spirit awards but had to create a separate award for me as I was not voted for any.

...I spent a great deal of my childhood on my top bunk bed, looking out the window into the garden and watching ants, spiders, birds, and anything else go by.

...Much as it is still considered freakish, I am an unapologetic math lover and have often cracked open an algebra textbook when I've felt glum or lonely.

Fact: My bffs gave me two of the best Christmas gifts ever.

One gave me an adorable chibi she drew of one of my characters, and the other gave me a "magical author pen" holder with my name and an "Alastair-face ( O.O )" woodburned into it, and an epic (fake) dagger she made me.

I am very surprised and pleased

Fact: Due to my beloved Lord of the Rings shoulder bag dying epically from about six months of obsessive use, I received a sturdier, even more epic The Hobbit backpack as a Christmas gift

(the reason it's more epic is not because the movie was better [far be it] but that it looks very similar to the backpacks the hobbits have, and it's all canvas or something so it won't fall apart XD. And it has the Lonely Mountain, the location of the secret door, and Smaug all embroidered on it in their proper colors.)
