I got both of these facts from a church.

1. By the time the average person is 65, they have spent 9 full years watching TV! (Not me, I don't watch TV)

2. The average person lives 28, 758 days.

What a brilliant thread. Too bad I wasn't around for all the fun last year. But now that I am, I have a few of my own to add. *apologies if some of these are repeats*

The reason people say "God bless you" when you sneeze is because your heart stops for a millisecond.

I thought people said God Bless You because when the plague hit Europe, you had to be blessed to survive your sickness and they would pray that you wouldn't die. (Not sure if that is true...)

I also read somewhere that in a certain country (can't remember) it's believed that a little bit of your soul evaporates along with your sneeze. :)

That's really weird; I've never heard of that one before - it's the kind of thing you could incorporate into your fantasy novel hehehe.
