Salve omnibus! Or, Greetings Everyone! :D

I originally heard of this site from a friend, and after looking into it a little and getting an idea of what it's about, I figured this was the place for me. So here it goes, introduction time.

First off I am a diehard Catholic and Conservative (just to bring everyone into the picture), and I love drawing, writing, cosplaying, LARP (Live Action Role Play), guitar, dancing, and a number of other things. I've always been a huge fantasy nerd, so from day one I've been into knights, dragons, and epic battles waged between elves and orcs. Funny thing is, that obsession has spawned many of my current hobbies.

I'm the 3rd of 6 in the family, so there are plenty of yung 'uns running about the house unleashing their energy. It makes for a lively atmosphere, but sometimes retreating to the peace and quiet of my room is what I prefer to do.

As of recent years I've become rather musical, I suppose you'd say. I've begun to thoroughly enjoy Broadway musicals, jazz, and many other forms of dancing and singing. Recently I also learned how to swing dance, and that's a ton of fun. Aside from those though, music-wise, I listen to Folk and Power Metal, Classical, and a lot of Symphonic stuff.

Ah yes, I also have an avid love for cheesecake and like to speak Latin. :P

Anyways, that's a bit about me. I look forward to spending time on the site and hopefully meeting some of you!

I will not dance around in excitement I will not dance around in excitement I will not-- *dances around in excitement*

YOU'RE HERE! :dieshappy: Am I allowed to call you by your real first name or middle name here? XD You can call me Teddy all you want. And you'll love it here! Everyone is so wonderful and friendly and crazy and sweet and you'll fit right in. *nodnod*

I've told you quite a bit about several of the people on here. *grins* So some of them may be familiar to you in some ways (and to anyone reading this, if I told him about you, it was all good things. ;) ).

If you have any questions, ask me, or you can feel free to ask anyone else. Everyone is really nice and I'm talking in run-on sentences because I'm so excited, I'm sorry. XD

*gives you cheesecake* ;)

*bounces off to the corner to see what else happens*

:D Yes, I'm here! Thanks for the especially warm welcome. I do have a feeling I'll be bugging you with questions left and right over the next few days, hehe. xD And yes, permission granted to use my middle name (as I'd probably burst out laughing if you did call me Wang all the time).

Yeah, can't wait to meet all these said people I've heard about and everyone else on here. You'll have to be my tour guide. ;)

OHO! *eagerly accepts cheesecake*

Hm, Tolkien and R.A Salvatore are probably two of my favorites, but I also greatly like J.K Rowling, Cervantes, Frank Herbert, Naomi Novik, and Tony DiTerlizzi. :)

Why thank you, dear Bush! :D I have a feeling I'm going to. x3 Oh dear, don't tell me its the kind that craves jello. ._. *hides his jello*

Is there anywhere in particular I should start here on the forums? I've done a bit of looking around, but when you have a 9 year old laptop that crashes after 30 minutes of web browsing I haven't had as much time as I'd like to explore.

Welcome, Wang! It's great to have you. :D *Gives a plate of sparkly brownies* Enjoy!

You have already started, and in just the right place! :D Most people introduce themselves in this forum first. After that, go wherever you like. General Discussion and Writing Discussion are good places to go, if you don't know what to do. If you want to read some fantasy world-building or post some of your own, the Scholar's Hall is the place for that. In the Fireside you'll find story excerpts and other bits of writing to read. Have fun exploring!

I love Les Miserables! Have you seen the movie?

My favorites are Les Miserables, West Side Story, Wicked, The Sound of Music... I haven't heard Pirates of Penzance or On the Town yet. I should check them out. :)

Yes! I loved it! :D ... except for Russel Crowe. Poor man couldn't sing *shakes head sadly*

I like West Side Story too, and I completely forgot about The Sound of Music. Lots of childhood memories there. And yeah, you should whenever you get the chance. Especially Pirates of Penzance, it's a great musical comedy. :D

Oh, yes, Russell Crowe. *sighs* Have you heard/watched the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables, the one they staged in London? (I'm sorry, I'm such a passionate fan of Les Miserables. :D )

Yes, The Sound of Music really brings back a lot of childhood memories. I can't remember the first time I watched that, but I know that I've been seeing it for as long as I've been alive. :D
