Hello Everyone!
My name is Shihab Anfisa, I am new. Wooo!
If you know Ophelia MirZA Mimetes, we should be friends, because she is a very dear friend to me in the FamiliarWorld.
I am a seventeen year old girl/young lady/lassie who is on fire for Christ and loves to write! Seems like :book: a good combination for this site right? That's what I'm hoping!
I know it's unprofessional to say so, but I am new to this kind of blogging forum postal system, so please help! Any advice is appreciated.
I can't wait to get to know you all awesome people!

Well! A newbie! Who are your favorite authors? And are you currently writing anything? books? shorts stories?

And just ask if you need help. :D

Howdy howdy howdy, Shihab! Welcome to our world! The long and short of posting and whatnot here is this: if you find a thread/topic you would like to participate in via discussion, post a reply. If you can't find a thread/topic on what you would like to discuss, create a new thread and detail what you'd like to discuss. That easy! Very glad to have any friend of Mirza's on board! :salute:

Thank you very much! This is most encouraging!
I am currently writing slice of life pieces (some of which I will post...somehow o.O )
I mostly write pieces which are sad, almost depressing, but have a portion of hope built in. My life tends to be that way :P
My favorite authors are Tolkien, Brian Jacques, Lois Lowry, Calvin Miller, and C.S.Lewis. I love many others, but I read most of their work. I especially loved the Singer Trilogy.
I run a lot! I have not been able to as much this summer, but running is my true talent (though I can only brag 8 miles at the peak of my season).
Tell me about yourselves!
And, how do I post a story and read yours?

Welcome, Shihab! :) That is a lovely name.... And Ophelia is wonderful. * smiles *

I always like those stories best.... * smiles * That is what I often write too. My stories just happen that way.

What genre do you write? Contemporary?

Oooh... I am not very fit, but I love the idea of running.... I wish I was better at it. I need to run more. Do you do races or competitions sometimes?

The Fireside. :) You start a thread if you want to post one of your own, or you can just read the other threads to see other people's stories. :)

I'm not actually sure what your question means actually XD I write in modern day. Is that what you mean? :D

I often run 5ks and 10ks for fun. I'd love to run a half marathon or full marathon, but I need to crack down and train ^_^

Thank you for your help! This is turning out to be so cool! I'll post a piece in Fireside and see what happens *throws confetti and watches it fall to the ground* I'll pick that up later...

I'm so glad you're here on HW Shihab! *Grins* But then, you already know that. ;)

This forum is full of /amazing/ people and I've learned so much about writing and friendship from them. Ha, you can tell how much I love this place by how often I talk about all my friends here.

If you have questions, just drag me over to the computer and I'll seek to answer.

Heyyy! :D It's nice to see you here. Ophelia's awesome. I know other people have said that, but still, it's true. ^_^ She's a great big sis.

Anyway, welcome to HW, land of crazy people. Everyone's really sweet and helpful; we're like a big, happy, oftentimes-rather-hyper family. Again, glad to see you here. :) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Or anyone else. We don't bite. ;)

Thanks guys! It's so cool to finally meet Renna and Lycanis!
Lycanis, I often enjoy listening to music. I do not mind conservative pop, but my favorite style to listen to at any time is Celtic or Irish. Favorite bands in that realm are High Kings, Clancy brothers, Celtic Woman, and some Flogging Molly for fun. If I'm writing a slice of life piece, I don't have time to start my music up. If I'm writing novels or papers, I'll definitely get dig out my Pandora station and rock out! :D
What about you?

Cool! ^_^ I'll listen to almost anything. ;) Lately I've been listening to a lot of metal--my favorite type of metal I think would be folk metal, like Korpiklaani (though a lot of their songs appear to be about drinking  I like their instrumentals :D). I also really like Celtic and Irish. =D Interestingly, there are elements of those in some of the rock and metal I listen to. I also like medieval orchestra type stuff like TSFH for while I'm writing, or, a more recent discovery, Mythos, which is New Age. :D

W00t! I pronounce my name "Sheehab Onfeesuh" But I don't mind if you pronounce it another way. Most people just pick something and stick with it XP

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Shihab. Very glad to have you here!

All my Dad's family are Irish, so I love Irish and Celtic music. :)

Your username is awesome.
