I was reading the lyrics of the below hymn yesterday, thinking of all the blessings God gives us. Even when we are going through some toil or trouble, God still sends blessings and comforts us amidst the conflict! So, here is a thread to count your blessings. Tell us what God has done for you this day/week/year, and how he has blessed your life.

I have been blessed with great house mates and a great house to live in at a great cost

Despite the fact that I listed all of the material blessings before what was truly important, God loves me still. He holds me in His very arms. I could lose everything on this list and still be blessed by His overwhelming love. The fact that He loves a wretched man like myself is enough to fall on my knees in thanks giving...

I have been blessed with a lovely church that supports the truth of God fully.
I am blessed daily by my family, the constant love and friendship from each one of my family members is a wonderful blessing.
I have been blessed with a beautiful, new sister in law, and her awesome family.
I am blessed each day by the small and big things that God teaches me as I walk through life with Him.
I am blessed with a Mother who loves to brainstorm my writings with me, and who gives me lots of wonderful ideas to work with.
I have been blessed with a wonderful community on Holy Worlds, who have helped me grow in my writing, and as a person as well. You guys have laughed with me when I am happy, brainstormed with me when I am ready to throw my book in the trash and saved me from my insanity; you have supported me when I am downcast and dreary, and you are a constant reminder to me of God's wonderful blessings.
I am blessed daily because of God's constant love and forgiveness. When I am faithless, He remains faithful always. If I am weary, He is always there to strengthen me. I am blessed because no matter how lonely I may feel, I am never alone because He is my everlasting friend, and one I shall never, ever lose. What a blessing!
