I know that very well, but it would kill the plants. Which reminds me, I still need to find those raw pickles.

He is, but he was created by Evening, and she hasn't graced this thread yet.

Very quickly, a funny story about Jay that I was going to tell for his birthday...

(I heard this from Jay and Juliet. I wasn't there. Obviously. :P)

Jay was waiting to scare Juliet, and, when she came around the corner, he said boo or some such thing. She, being very used to these things, (having four brothers) didn't do anything at all, which startled Jay so badly he jumped and yelped.

*Hides from Jay*

Oh, another story. About me (mostly) this time, so don't worry, Jay. :)

First, the background from earlier today:

Airianna said she was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to keep up with everyone, and Jay said that sounded fun. And I said that reminded me of a story of when I was younger but I wouldn't say it there since it would clutter things up. (And then Jay asked whether I had gotten my head cut off. He said that would have been interesting. Ahem. Actually I still have my head, thank you. Or at least I think so...)

ANYWAY. The story was this.

When I was about two, my Grandma came to visit us in the lovely state of Pennsylvania. We were country people then, (still are, only we don't live in the country.) and had our own chickens and such. My Grandma is more of a cityish person, I'd say. Apparently, (or so the story goes) I took great glee in repeatedly and excitedly telling her (with the violent chopping motions, you know) about how we "Chopped their heads off!! And then we just chopped them off!!!" And she found that rather disturbing. For some reason.

:D

George is here!

*a huge explosion of blinding orange, golds, and reds morphs into the fiery shape of a fireworks dragon.*

Sorry, I was busy most of the day and missed the dragon hunt and everything... :'( :pale: :( (nice new smilies, by the way)... but I'm here with George!

*roar*

Interestingly enough, I now named a little stuffed animal George, which is going to be really confusing. I like the name George for funny creatures (no offense to anyone named George). Anyways, here I am. Oh yeah, gotta sing.

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday, dear Holyworldschristianfantasyforum
*gasps for breath*
Happy birthday toooooooo yooooooooooooooo!

*George flies up into the air, does a triple flip and twist, then rockets up into the air and explodes into a gazillion sparkling stars.*

Anyone got cucumbers?

Shawn: Did someone call the jester?

Me: Oh, no, all the charries are popping in. Oh well, maybe I'll just let them take over for once.

Cordim: Haha, that would mean both of us, Shawn. Wait... is my name spelled with an m or n at the end?

Cirwyn: Who cares, boy.

Taleph: Miss, that wasn't very nice.

Natanya: Shh... she has issues.

Aláthia: She doesn't! She's just... hurt.

Jayan: Being hurt doesn't excuse bad behavior.

Daechk: Can we PLEASE talk about something else?

Kyra: Whoa! Birthday bash! This is totally cool.

Talitha: Yay! Mom, can I've some cake?

Alister: Ok, this is getting awkward.

Aiisha: Isn't it always...

Tirthah: Hush up and be useful.

Me: Let's see... any characters I forgot...?

Kendri: Me! Don't forget me!

Tamera: Me, too.

Jayten: And me. Hey, my name sounds like Jayan's...

Keira: Do you KNOW how many other characters Evening has named Kiera? It's pathetic.

Me: NOOOO! All the characters from my past writings are returning to haunt me!

Anna: Hey, we're not haunting you.

Seth: You were working on us for a looong time, ya know.

Skylar: This thread is getting long.

Marissa: Yeah, zip it, folks.

Cassidy: Wait! Don't forget me! I was your first novel-worthy character!

Hannah: And I was her sister!

Renna: Whoa, am I dreaming?

Avery: Aren't you always.

Shane: Ok, I'd like to know where this Airianna person is.

Willis: Yeah. I hear you're the girl who put this insane hay farming idea into the author's head.

Everett: Do you KNOW how much work it is?

Sterling: Yeah, and I totally ruined my blouse feeding those silly goats.

Jackson: Oh, shut up. You've got the easy job, city girl.

Me: Ok, ok! Goodness. Anybody else?

Kalluk: Woof!

Aurora: *howl*

Aryanni: What a Julie of the Wolves rip-off.

George: Watch what you say, kitty girl. I'm George, and I'll beat you up if you're mean to Evening. She gave me a pony ride!

ENOUGH! Ok, once George, a two-legged stuffed rodent, starts talking, you know it's time to quit. Please forgive the super long post. This is my contribution to the insanity of the HW 1-1-1 birthday bash. Farewell!

~ Evening

Not the cucumbers. Please don't remind me about them.

Are you Holmes or Watson? :D I presume Holmes. Speaking of which, I have a joke to put in here...

Quote:
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson go on a camping trip, set up their tent, and fall asleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at the sky. What do you see?"

Watson replies, "I see millions of stars."

"What does that tell you?"

Watson ponders a minute. "Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets."

"What else does it tell you?"

"Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three."

"What else does it tell you?"

Watson thought harder. "Judging by the sky, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.

"What else does it tell you?"

"I can't think of anything else! What does it tell you?"

Holmes is silent for a moment, then speaks. "Elementary, my dear Watson. Someone has stolen our tent."

I'll miss these funny threads when they are put away... :(

Yes ladies, eventually the threads will be locked away. While we at Holy Worlds delight in revelry and good humored fun, we also desire to grow in wisdom and knowledge. So, while we do encourage you to be a little crazy, we want our emphasis to be on building one another up and growing together as Christian writers. However, as long as we leave the thread up you are welcome to enjoy, so please, carry on!

@Shawn: I've heard that one before, too, I think. :P

@Airianna: How long will it be up, exactly? I mean, the decorations and everything?

I have never heard it. Good one. :)

I will probably put most of it away today (Sunday).

Time for the party to end. :(

But! They're not like, going to disappear! They'll be locked in the Vault where we can reread them whenever we want to remember our party and laugh our heads off!!

I got that one from my science book.

Oh, good! I was sad that I wasn't going to be able to reread them, so I am pleasantly surprised!
