Okay, all who watched it, ramble.

*whispers* I haven't watched it yet, so please use the spoiler highlight. Thanks. :D

Anyway do you like it? Cons? Pros?

I saw it last night and I was impressed. :D [I had just seen the first one a few days before.] PJ:SoM of course, wasn't entirely true to the book. But still good. I think I liked it better than the first one.

Pros:
I absolutely love the poster for the movie.
Annabeth's hair is finally blonde! She was nicer in this movie.
Tyson was wayyy better than I expected.
The Cab of Damnation scene was funny.
Logan Lerman is a terrific Percy.
The special effects were done really well. I've read a couple of reviews that said they were overdone, but I didn't notice.

Cons:
Clarisse was older than I expected, and she was more girly than she is in the book. There was a personality change from the book.
I still don't think Luke (Jake Abel) was cast correctly. :P And the later-important-to-the-books relationship between Luke and Annabeth was overlooked.
It wasn't true to the book in some parts, but I expected it.

*Has yet to see it, so doesn't click the spoilers*

I want to see it, but I'm not sure when that will happen. :D

The first one was bad and butchered the story.

The second one is even worse.

They're not going to finish the series like this. >.> In fact what they really need to do is find someone to make them that actually sees the value in the five-book storyline and sticks to it. If they did that, with good actors, it would be successful.

I don't like the books, so the first movie was a pleasant surprise. Mom and I laughed - a lot. The special effects were amazing and the acting quite good.

I'm going to see it at a drive-in Sunday so I'll tell you my thoughts then. :D

This is going to be on the Christmas film list for me. :) Still haven't seen it, but definitely want to! It comes out in December, so looking forward to seeing it then.
