Me Looks like its time for the Aetheria cast to take their leave. They have a book to take part in. Here meet my freshly reconnected Ska'Lah'Seh characters again.

(Lyrous arrives his friends Bellus and Jach in toe)

Lyrous: My powers why did he have to take my psychokinesis, WHY? :bawl:

Jach: It will be alright we all gt more faith based abilities to mae up for it.

Lyrous: Key words "WE ALL" got more powers I'm no longer interesting!

Bellus: (Looks at Lyrous with contempt, Takes out piece of paper and wrights) I had to loose my tongue for more flavor, Stop complaining.

Lyrous: You don't understand no more kaboom :bawl:.

Jach: You where to heavily multi-classed. Whene the author decided to remove kinetics he felt it would be a good Idea to remove your wizard levels. rather than making you a magi-tech cleric.

Lyrous: I've gone from being a monster munching battle mage with cleric levels to an over-glorified healer! You as a tiny duel wielding paladin mouse person with a dark past could never understand my pain.

Bellus: (Wrights) Maybe Jachs to heavily multiclassed. :dieshappy:

Jach: An odd race class combination and shady backstory do not make me unbelievable. Mister I bit out my own tongue to seem like a tougher character. Besides, Lyrous is like an ultra mut Being half-Monan-half Alliancer. He has Human Giant and Elf all in one. That's every-race that can produce offspring together in one!

Lyrous: The Giant blood is only mentioned in passing, and is mostly just alliance flavor, it has little to do with my origin and only occurred by happenstance. In effect I'm only a half-elf. I'm just a Half-Elf cleric. Heck Bellus is a holy stealth class. What have I got a few more spiritual abilities and a long stick with a pointy end! :bawl:

Me: Your a Prophet...

Lyrous :(Sniff) What (Sniff).

Me: God communicates with you through dreams and appears before you in numerous forms. Its a part of your character I decided to expand upon after taking away your Kinetic Abilities.

Lyrous: So Im not a Cleric Im a...

Me: Favored Soul.

Lyrous: I love you...

(Authors note you will not get half of this joke unless you are familiar with 3.5e DnD (Aka Pathfinder) classes, In which I am highly eluding to Technicaly using Ska'Lah'Seh terminology Jach is a Templar, Bellus is a Justiciar, and Lyrous is a Hospitaler with levels in the prophet prestige class.)

Melany: *leans her back against a tree and closes her eyes* And I'm an Amazon doctor with extra skin pigments. Hi.

Malcolm: And Erroy is naturally mute, and Trevelian doesn't complain about his lot in life.

Me: Lyrous doesn't usually, it was mostly just a skit done for comedic and informative purposes.

Lyrous: Thank you Ryver at least someone here appreciated good comedy. (Extends out his hand to shake, Revealing that it is made of metal) :dieshappy:

Jach: o.O He retcons out your psychokinesis but not your missing-arm?

Me: All of your injuries where left intact, Its the realism of how your heroic lifestyle have not left you unscathed that I think really adds strong flavor to Skalahseh. Its how visceral battle and warfare in Skalahseh is that gives it that extra kick. The main reason I removed "Spellcasters" in the first place. Wounds, Scares, Blood, and Guts. It just highlights all the Glory and Horrors of combat. Teaching an important lesson about war to my readers.

Jach: (@ Alister) It depends on how in-depth our authors want to g with this as though I know how to juggle my Author does not therefor We would need to use a literary mechanism like this. (Takes Alister Aside and begins talking to him out of earshot, Juggles his swords as if to demonstrate, Then returns with Alister in Toe) I hope that helps! :dieshappy:

Lyrous: Tricky little pirate, Always finding loopholes.

Jach: Ex-Pirate my days of villainous knavery are behind me now, Thank you vary much.

Alastair: :D *tries to juggle again* *loses control of one ball and it bounces off his head* o.O :P this is hard...

Ryver: You were a pirate?

Tinsley: of course he would be interested in that story of thing...

Breindel: *dreamily* That sounds amazing, Malcolm...*appears lost in her own little world*

Lyrous: Hey he doesn't have to answer that!

Jach: No, I'm not going to hide from my past (Jack looks down at his feet :'( ) I've done terrible things. I have Stolen, (Their is a short pause) Murdered, and committed acts if listed here could easily get my author kicked off of Holy Wolds. I was a Pirate after all... An evil man who did evil things. Things I know I could never atone for, Save for the Grace of Yah my soul would be condemned to damnation, and it is because of that vary grace that I have taken up the sword yet again, this time however, Not as a destroyer, but as a defender of the Innocent. So that all might live free of the sort of man I once was.

Lyrous: None of us would have become Guardians if we had not faced Evil in some way, shape or form, Me I saw it in my brothers vengeance. Bellus in the men who slew his mother and father and disfigured his sister. Jach, Jach saw the evil in his own heart.

Jach: ( o.O Looks at Malcom suspiciously) Yeeaaahhhh... I know who I'm not my turning back to.

Lyrous: don't be so judgmental...

Jach: the last time I ran around with people like that I had my eye ripped out with a rusty spoon and thrown in the ocean... Remember. I don't think Yah will shield me from harm the second time around. Test not the lords power and all that.

Lyrous: No mortal is incorruptible. The price a mans places on his soul is rarely a mere number. It actual has some relevance to our order. For a monastic order Guardians take vary few vows, However every Guardian must take a single personal vow. During our training as Guardians our masters asked us what price we have laid on our souls, and we take a vow to renounce this our greatest sin. For me it was the desire to seek any form of vengeance or retribution.

Jach: For me it was the desire of wealth.

Bellus: (Rights a strange character on the ground)

Lyrous: (Looks at The Character) It means "woman"

Alastair: *from across the room* What is that? It isn't a drawing, I don't think...

Tinsley: They are cute. Good for you, Lyrous!

Simperer:  Women...even when the children aren't present they fawn over them...*takes sudden interest in the photograph* your daughter, how old is she? *studies picture in a very non-violent way*

Lyrous: Shes three the boy is one. (Looks at the Simperer with feral eyes). The girl takes after me Red hair green eyes fiery temper, afraid of nothing. Boys blond with blue eyes like his mother and uncle (Points to Bellus) Kind-of whiny like his uncle too, but he is only a just a year old.

Bellus: (Shoots Lyrous a sharp glare)

Tinsley: maybe it's both of your tempers rolled into one? ;)

Alace: *has sat at the far side of the room and begun to draw, looking periodically at Kitra's characters*

Breindel: *who has been steadily inching further away from the Simperer* ...Sylva is a pretty name, Lyrous! What does it mean?

Simperer: *suddenly glares at her*

Breindel: He doesn't!! You misunderstand!

Simperer: *bitterly* Yes. Yes I do misunderstand. *looks very evil again* I am done with this ridiculous conversation.

Breindel: So be it.

Lyrous: ..., Um OK, In First tongue Sylva means she who's is like a tree. It was a reference to her green eyes. Tahlan is the boys name and that means He who is elevated. Its a common name with similar connotations to naming a child christian on earth. I'm more fond of Sylva's, Maybe its just cuz Astra let me name her.

Me: *Stares at characters in shock* No misbehavior? At all?

Mordir: We couldn't do anything without you here.

Me: Okay... so, Alace had a panic attack. Lyrous and co. are back. And Lyrous has kids, and the Simperer also had a kid?

Mordir: Had?

Me: Don't start.

Mordir: I didn't say anything! I'm not teasing! My own kids have been kidnapped!

Emeer: How?

Mordir: Not your business.

Chayn: *Snarls*

Alastair: *mildly irritated* Erronys! You moved! :P well...what do you think so far? *shows him a half-rendered ink drawing of Melany, Trevalian, Malcolm, and Erronys*

Breindel: Those names are wonderful! Filled with power. I'm sure I Am has much in store for them! You and your wife must be very happy. :)

Simperer: *@Mordir* Oh, so you haven't had time to rescue them yet? ^_^ What a shame...

Me: Look at Mordir's face, Simperer. He's gonna murder you now.

Breindel: No one is going to die, Tynx. At least...I hope not...

Ryver: A talking...fox? Huh.

Mordir: *Glares murderously at the Simperer* I'm working on it.

Me: He's being very brave. ^_^

Emeer: *Peeks* Wait, V-

Me: Oi! Back away from my mind, son!!! That is classified info!

Mordir: What? What about Valia?

Me: You'll find out later.

Ivy: *Stares at the Simperer* You look funny.

Iluna: Ivy!

Mordir:

Tynx: Oh. So nobody dies? That's good. ^_^ *To Ryver* Yup! I talk! :D Aris says the only problem is I can't shut up. Is that a problem? I didn't think it was-

Me: *Puts bowl of something bubbly beside Tynx*

My characters:

Tynx: *Has drained bowl* MT. DEW!!!!!!

Mordir: I almost hate you more the the Whiner.

Zinaan: Can I have some?

Mordir: No! One hyped up child is enough!

Chayn: Tynx isn't a child.

Mordir: He's as close to a child as a mature being can get. *Looks at Jach* Ransom note? My life. Well, I suppose there wasn't a ransom note. The man planned on killing my family one by one and then killing me. All because I killed his brother.

Me: The kids, Mordir...

Mordir: Ivy's too busy insulting Simpy and Zinaan... he's watching Tynx before the rat explodes.

Emeer: WHAT?!?!

Me: You people take these things way too literally.

Ivy: *Stares at the Simperer for a moment* 'Cause... you have a funny nose.

Iluna: Please tell me this isn't happening. My daughter is...

Mordir: Relax. He won't hurt her. *To Jach* There was no ransom note. The man planned on killing them all and then killing me. *Looks at Malcolm* Give it a moment and she will. It takes her a bit to-

Ivy: *Screams* Mama!!! A monster!!!!!

Mordir: There you go, Malcolm. Not only is she a bit slow to take in everything. She doesn't quite give people her undivided attention.

Me: So... Ivy has something like ADHD... Interesting.

Tynx: Oh good. I like to talk. It's fun. Because you can talk to people, and talking to people is fun, too. It's how you can make friends. But it's also how you don't. Because some people argue and that's not nice because it makes people mad at each other and then they don't want to talk to each other and then that makes them sad that they made each other angry- *Keeps talking and blabbering, half of which is nonsense*

Mordir: *Tries to ignore Tynx* Valia is a young woman I met when I discovered my family had been kidnapped. She's helped me find them, and kept me from getting myself killed.

Me: And knocked you out. Twice.

Mordir: Yeah, wasn't gonna bring that up...

Malcolm: I suppose my experiences with human young would be the more singular. Melany and Kaida are the only two with whom I have kept company. *rests his head on the ground*

Melany: Oh no, he's quite friendly for a monster. :D *climbs up and lies down on Malcolm's nose*

Malcolm: *picks his head back up*

Melany: *waves to Ivy*

Jach: (@Mordir) Villains just aren't vary creative anymore I remember the first real villain we had to face Athan, know that man was a conniving Blackguard.

Me:OK THAT'S IT! You three obviously cant keep your mouths shut.

Bellus: (Points into his mouth as to indicate his missing tongue)

Me: Oh shut it! I'm rewinding you guys to say around the first book!

Lyrous: No, I was so awkward!

Bellus: (Looks excited)

Jach: (Puts pinky into his ear, digging out some earwax and flicking it casually)

Me: (Makes a motion in the Air, as if to turn back a clock)

Lyrous: (Lyrous shrinks slightly, more in width than height, growing younger, until he looks about sixteen, As a sixteen year old, he is tall and gaunt like a high school basketball player, furthermore his metal hand is gone and with a normal hand to replace it)

Me I feel this would be a good time to bring up that Lyrous's name has changed to Lyran do to some changes in the Old tongue dictionary)

Bellus: (De ages to about 16 as well, He is a handsome yet girlish young man) I can speak again! (His voice has a somewhat irritatingly high class tone to it)

Jach: (Jach deages to about 18, Little changes save the loss of most of his wrinkles and many of his scars)

Me: This might also be a good time to introduce Astra to you all.

Bellus: NO! Shes scary!

(A young woman of about 16 appears, She bears remarkable resemblance to Bellus, With her silky Blond hair and shimmering blue eyes, She would be quite beautiful save for the deep and grotesque scars that mar the right side of her face)

Astra: These punks aren't causing you lot any trouble are they? (Her voice is beautiful yet course like a cracked bell, it is sad yet stoic)
