Hi, I'm Ardishae-- I like legos, writing, and Jesus :)
I also like to make my friend Jakorosin the Ogre embarrassed, which hopefully this post will do the trick... Bahahahaha!!! (Just like the grammar in this post!)

In more seriousity, I like to write, and I like to write fantasy/magical realism stuff, and all sorts of other things too... And Jakorosin has lauded the joviality of this group so I thought I'd give it a try :)
I am a busy college student/employee so alas and alack, I am not always able to do all the things I like to (like posting on forums).
But yes. Is this enough to go on? Now I feel like i'm writing like my mother... Oh dear.

Welcome, Monica!

If I might ask, how do you stay sane being friends with Joel?

Welcome, Ardishae! Oh, another Lego person? Yay! (Ever tried sharpening them and scattering haphazardly around the room for somebody to step on? *if you haven't seen Tim Hawkins then ignore that ;) )
So glad you're here!

Welcome, friend! I love your thread title. It makes me think of Finding Nemo when the Bruce say, "Hi, my name is Bruce," and everyone responds with. "Hi Bruce."!

*grins and shakes your hand *

Believe me, it's a struggle sometimes.. though I'm pretty sure the struggle runs the other way too...

Aw thankies! :D I do! I would have to say Tolkien, Lewis of course (particularly his Science trilogy-- I know it's technically sci-fi but it's got a lot of fantasy elements to it), Terry Pratchett, Frank Herbert (again, Sci-fi technically, but his world building is just mind blowing) and... George MacDonald, for a start. What are some of your own favorites? I am always looking for more books to read... :book:

As far as Legos go, well... Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, Of course... I do not stray far from sanity in that area :P
You guys seem super awesome already! :D

I like Tolkien and Lewis too. I haven't read Pratchett and Herbert yet, but I'm always on the lookout for new authors and new books. My as-of-the-moment most favorite fantasy novel is Angel Fall by Coleman Luck (you should check it out!). :) As for George MacDonald, I've got to read more of his books. :)

Welcome! I am fairly new here myself, too. :dieshappy:

And moving on to authors, have you ever read any of Andrew Klavan? He wrote the Homelanders series, If We Survive, and alot of others. (His books are technically realistic fiction, but they are very good.)

And how about Wanye Thomas Batson? He wrote the Door Within Trilogy and Berinfell Prophecies. He also wrote some pirate themed books.....Emilyn on these forums read them, too. I'm not sure if she get's on here much anymore, though....

Anyway, welcome! ;)
