"Hello!" Therdi says to Ingvar, while waving to Kaida.
Time passes?

Therdi pokes Hawkes, "What are you doing?"

Hawkes: *whirls around and mutters* "I'm...ah...counting."

(Yes, Mopa, time passed. Whenever one of us falls behind the other roleplayers, we can just reply anyway and assume that time passed.)

Ashley very gingerly takes the book and looks at it, being as careful as she can. "It's pretty," she says quietly, eyes shining. "What's it about?"

Tawni nods. "She was white and gray and black." She frowns again. "I don't know where she is now."

(Tawni seems to have forgotten most of her life... this is interesting, and a twist I wasn't expecting. )

Guilo: It's about people and history and everything God does for us.

(To Hawkes) "What for?" Therdi I asks.

Hawkes: *hissing sigh* "Hideandseek."

"What's Hide'nseek?"

"Oh," Ashley says, curiously gazing at the book. She opens it up and looks at a few pages. "Like a Bible? Da has a Bible; he reads to me and Mum from it sometimes."

Guilo: Yep, it's a Bible. It's the only book I had so I read it to my brother when we were little.

Shawn: (to Tawni) "Ooh, she sounds beautiful. I hope you can find her... I know how losing things can be..."

Hawkes: "It's a game. Which I need to count for. Five, six, seven, eight..."

"That was nice of you," Ashley says, smiling. She continues looking through the book. "I liked hearing about Joseph."

Tawni nods, a little frown appearing on her face when Shawn says 'I know how losing things can be'. "I hope I find her too." She falls silent for a few minutes, then leans forward and gives Shawn a hug.

Sarai peeks out from behind the tree she is hiding behind, giggling while watching carefully for Hawkes.

Guilo: That is a good story. I don't know which one is my favorite yet. I do like the verse about having wings like eagles though. For obvious reasons. *ruffles wings*

Hawkes: "Ugh... Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnne, Ten. Here I come."

Shawn: *hugs Tawni back* "You'll find her some day, I'm sure."

Ashley nods, watching Guilo ruffle his wings with a delighted grin on her face.

"I hope so." Tawni smiles a little. "And you'll find whoever you lost too."

Shawn: *quietly* "I wish... I will someday, though." *sad smile*

Tawni can tell that Shawn is sad, but is uncertain of what to say. So she decides to simply give Shawn another hug. "You will."

Jonah and Simon peek down from the tree they're hiding in, curiously wondering what is taking so long (because they're impatient little boys ).

Shawn: *hugs back and smiles* "Do you like stories?"

Hawkes: *walks studiously around in the trees, and bends over to examine the ground*

Tawni nods. "I love stories! Do you?"

Jonah and Simon see Hawkes a few yards away, and both struggle not to giggle out loud.

Therdi walks after Hawkes. "What are you doing now?"

Shawn: "Yes! Do you like to tell them?"

Hawkes; (to Therdi) "I'm looking at the ground." *starts following footprints towards Jonah and Simon's tree*

"Sometimes," Tawni says, nodding. "I used to tell stories to my tiger. She liked to listen to stories."

Jonah pulls his legs further up onto the branch he is perched on, peering down. "He's going to find us, Simon," he whispers.

Simon pokes his head out from behind a curtain of leaves. "Shhh. He won't if we stay quiet."

"But what are you looking for?" Therdi asks (to Hawkes).

Hawkes: *glances at Therdi* "Er...children."

Shawn: (to Tawni) "What sort of stories did you tell her?"
