Lyr'Ous-If you really want know about my hand... A dragon ate it. (Rolls up his sleeve) As you can see it goes all the way up my fore-arm, its made of a special Lyr infused bronze, was it? As of who made it I couldn't tell you, all I can say is the nurse was a sadist.

Guilo: Which color is jasper again? I can never remember.

Kaida: Can hardly expect to when you barely stay on the ground.

Guilo: I know. The sky is fun.

Jevra: Our jasper is yellow or red. I think it's different colors in different countries, though.

Crisius: (still looking at Lyr'Ous's hand) Does it hurt?

Lyrous: Kna, not anymore. Sometimes I get an Itch on the part of the arm I don't have anymore though can be pretty annoying.

Me: -bounds into room- Hello all!

Feya: -strides in, flashing a sharp gaze about -

*a blonde girl with a pixie haircut rolls into the room. She is tall and slender, and is dressed in the greens and browns of a wanderer. She carries a well-made quarterstaff*

(Rubs his scraggly chin as he looks up as if remembering something fondly) I remember this one time. I was captured by the Order of Divine Right. Not to fond of kinetics like my self. Especially the idea of kinetics as clergy. Like myself. Long story short the Inquisitor told ME everything. (Lyrous places his metal hand on Simperer shoulder His face in a wide grin) Everything.

Me: Dont mind him he's not fond of torturers. Hasn't been for a while its a long story. That assassins and lawyers.

Kaida: Words and grins. Those are the ingredients of talk.

Guilo: And talk is usually opposed to action.

Kaida: Quite so. What a shame, villains could be more interesting.

Tanner: Well, you do have to remember this is after battling dragons, vampires, and prey-marking death beasts...

Simperer: *to Kaida* My egregious bellibone, (woman excelling in beauty and goodness), I am no fabulist, so I tell you truly: I do tend to enjoy talking. And smiling. However, as Alastair can tell you, I am definitely not opposed to action. In fact, talking makes the action go by faster. And I am not a villain. I am merely a henchman in a far greater scheme. My master is what you righteous belesprits would call a villain.

Alastair: *loudly* Don't listen to him! He's a villain. A horrible, wicked, terrifying--

Another portal opens stepping out are a handsome blond man with blue eye,s and a small black haired man with the ears and tail of a mouse as well was a eye-patch. The two are dressed similarly to Lyrous.

Lyrous: Greetings brothers! (Lyrous shouts ecstatically) These two are my brothers in Arms Bellus Adair (Pointing to the Blond) and Jach Blanch (Pointing to the mousy fellow).

Jach: Greeting fellow adventurers! What great Qwest shall we embark upon this fine day!

Bellus: (Raises his hand hand quickly allows it to flop down)

Alastair: *raises eyebrows at Lyrous's bravery, then runs past the Simperer and hides behind Lyrous* I like you. You're a brave warrior. *looks up at him like a happy puppy* You can call me Alace, if you want. All my friends do.

Simperer: Is that really the only time evil prevails? I don't think so. Evil can corrupt the most righteous of beings if it wears the right clothes. Giving in to fear only helps it along. Alastair would know..."fear" is his middle name.

Alastair: *stares at Lyrous's companions* Hello there, I'm Alastair. ........quest? I didn't know a quest was in order...as long as we don't go near any marshes, ok? *sees Jach's tail* *whispers to Lyrous* He has a TAIL!!!!!!!!

Me: Forgive him...he's young. He only turned 13 a few weeks ago...

Alastair: Then how do I know who Simperer is?

Me: *rolls eyes and goes back to WIP*

Lyrous: It got bitten off by a dragon.

Jach: I'm a Rahtan obviously. Why don't you have a tail? Eh?

Bellus: (Face-palm)

Guilo: We have a friend with a tail! It's not natural though...

Tanner: We can't tell if it's a continuing side-effect of her past possession, or if it's a gift of the new possession...

Lyrous and Jach: (Smiling in unison) Possession, we can help with that!

Lyrous: (Turns to Alister) You ask how i don't have nightmares. Honestly, I'm Dragon cursed, Their isn't a night I don't wake up in a cold sweat after dreaming about being eaten alive. But I cant give into fear! I have a wife and two children to care for. I have to be strong for them.

Me: *giggles at DawnBringer's author/character interaction.* Oh...3rd or 4 th? that explains a lot. ^^

Me: he's not exactly from a family-friendly city...hope you don't mind his inquisitiveness, Lyrous.

So every summer I look at this and it whispers Use me. So I inevitably do, only to sort of vanish in the fall. So here goes this year, I guess.

A young man walks in confidently, glancing at those present through slightly narrowed eyes.

Atsui: Since we are largely 'out of the loop', as you say, perhaps you can be of some assistance. What exactly is the point of our authors' inflicting this interaction upon us?

Atsui: Yes, I understand development. I have sufficient development, thank you. I came here because I thought it would be interesting to speak to characters I had never met. However, they seem to spend much of their time speaking of things about which I know nothing.

Ada: Really, Atsui, get over it. We're here, we might as well make the most of it. And I, for one, think that Simperer fellow is interesting.

Atsui: *glares* You would. *turns back to Will and Michael* I suppose we had best find a common reference. Do either of you have military experience?
