Yeah as a matter of fact. I was gonna download one and then found that it had disappeared. :(

Why does the Sci-Fi forum look like it first did when the Citadel was first created? With that blue and white thing and the logo that says "phpBB" in the upper left corner?

Never mind: http://www.holyworlds.org/scifi/viewtop ... =70&t=1731

It's having issues right now, that's all. It'll be fixed at some point, but in the mean time it still works.

You know what I realized? With the SF forum busted, we are totally chat room-less.

I think it is the same reason Fantasy's one isn't, though I don't know why Fantasy is down.

In order to get back to the Sci-fi background y'all are used to, go to the User Control Panel in the Citadel. Click on the "Board Preferences" tab and change the "My board style" to either prosilver or subsilver2. Then go to the Sci-fi forum and voila! It is back to it's lovely steampunk background! (Hopefully. That's how I got it to work anyway.)

It doesn't work for me. Only one option shows up.

Juliet, I saw the same thing for the SF UCP, only one option. But I reselected that option and it mixed itself. :D

Did you go into the Sci-fi UCP or the Citadel UCP? Sci-fi has only one option, but the Citadel has four.

*guiltily raises hand *

Something I did when trying to create a new theme for the Citadel made SF break. Now either SF or the Citadel has to be the default theme. (Which is called prosilver.)

To change your theme go to your UCP as instructed. Even if there is only one option just hit save and it will refresh to the correct theme. I haven't the foggiest notion what's going on... there's some kind of conflict in the bowels of the mechanism that I haven't seen. Hopefully Andrew can attend to it soon and in the meantime I'll stick to nice, safe things, like torturing characters.

None of the forum chatrooms are working for me - I get an error message for Sci Fi, and with Historical and Fantasy it just shows the empty chat box.
And when I click "view your posts" on HF, it says they don't exist, or something like that. :?

the chat link at the top should direct to

http://www.holyworlds.org/scifi/chat/chat.php

If it doesnt I would copy the error message you get and any coding/script you see and send it to Andrew who is working on the website. he'll be able to make sense of that techy babble more than the rest of us! I have summoned him if that feature is still operational
