Right now it's 1 Timothy 4:12 - "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." It's encouraging since lots of people say things like "you're too young to make a difference" or think that our generation's spoiled, lazy, etc.

I have new favourite verses from the Bible every week. :)

One of my current favourites is this passage from 2 Peter 1:

In the context, it means that we have reason to fear if we reject Christ, but the first time I read it in going through a recent study, it reminded me of what it was like to first surrender my idols to him. I've had quite a rough time recently, and I read Psalm 94 and it was a real comfort to my soul during a troubled time.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.


I love this section a lot. Sometimes all one can do is hold onto the Lord and trust that His plans are perfect. I am grateful for His constant comfort when my thoughts are all over the place, and I'm not sure I can carry on. I'm so glad that I have a Saviour who cares for me, and when I feel that my soul is almost dwelling in silence, He is my help. <3

A couple of verses from Isaiah that have really encouraged me recently:

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
