Hey guys!

We'd appreciate some help, if any of you guys know about this. :)

Since Mother and Dad have become published, they want to start up their own website, to promote the book etc. However, we think it's best if we pay for a service provider (if that's the word I'm looking for) rather than use a free one, so we don't have ads and hopefully it will be more noticed.

However, we're not sure which to use, there are so many to choose from. So I know some of you guys have your own web sites or blogs etc, and I thought I'd ask and see what you'd advise.

Which did you use, and why do you like it? Which are the best to choose from? Dad has been getting lots of books to find out how to build a website, but the books never mention which are the best service providers, whether it's best to pay instead of using the free ones etc.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You could ask Andrew. Since he does website design, he would probably have a few suggestions for you.

I do website designing and I use wordpress if I don't code it. An examples of the "power" of wordpress would be http://meetmeforbreakfast.com and I believe Aubrey's website is also wordpress.

Ok, thanks, Katharina! :)

Many thanks, Golthem. He has looked into Wordpress since, but I think he finds it a bit too complicated. Thanks, though!

My sister and I recently built this website: http://www.bluefreedom.org
We made it through GoDaddy webhoasting, and I would have to say that out of all the different wh we've used, godaddy was the best.
Webs is also really good.
Hope this helps!
Blessings,
-KatieGrace

Thanks, Grace!

Yes, we went with Webs in the end. I used Webs for my business website, and I always found it easy to manage, so Dad has ended up using that as well.

Thank you again! :)
