Hello!

I live in a small Minnesota town and have started to write my first story, and I am so glad to finally find a group of writers who share my values and beliefs in the Lord. I'm open to questions about my story.

Welcome! It is good to have you here! *places a plate of warm lemon cookies on the table*

What part of Minnesota do you live in (East, West, North, South)? We have a few members in Wisconsin and Minnesota which is why I'm curious.

Wow so many great questions and I think Bilbo put it best when he said where to begin? I live about 2 hours west of the twin cities. As to my favorite authors as you may have quessed my favorite one is Tolkien, R. A. Salvatore and Terry Goodkind are also really good and as to my username I like to use my last name and the year I graduated High School. I have saved what I would think of as the best for last. When ever I have a story pop into my head its fantasy and as to my favorite scenes I would have to say fight scenes are my favorite to write I'm a guy I like the action! My story is about a half elf who leaves his adopted uncle to go on a quest to find the shards of his ancestral sword which shattered in a battle that claimed the life of his parents and by doing so reclaim his heritage because up to that point all he had were stories.

Awesome! I live about three hours southeast of the Twin Cities. For some reason the name R.A. Salvatore sounds familiar, but I can't place why. What books did he write? I love your username, sietsema. Very creative! :) Your book sounds neat. Feel free to share excerpts of it. :dieshappy:

Sietsema, You can post your stories in one of the subforums located here. Okay, maybe I haven't heard R.A. Salvatore's name before. *stays firmly rooted in place so as to not cause a land mine to go off* :dieshappy:

Welcome to Holy Worlds! Your story sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out.

I'm from Minnesota too, I live just north of the Twin Cities.

Hello there, Sitsema! Sorry I am late. *Looks carefully on the floor for the tiny telltale piles of sparkles where the glitter mines are hidden, findable only with a magnified glass, and then tiptoes safely over to Sitsema to deliver a plate of welcome brownies*
