So Arien and I are now in possession of a computer program called RPG Maker VX Ace. This allows us to create computer role-playing games, and we'd like to make one based on Holy Worlds.

Only we can't really do it without your help. For one thing, we're not willing to create characters based off of all you amazing people without permission, even if those characters only have one line. For another, we all know there's a ton of creativity here and we'd like to tap into some of that.

So we're basically asking for permission to use your username and create a character based off you; ideas for quests; ideas for bad guys to fight; and any other awesome and crazy ideas you might have.

Also, we need about four characters to be the "party" (the main characters). We're thinking it might work best to make up people for that instead of trying to choose four HWers, but in that case we might want names for those characters that aren't likely to end up as usernames (like Newbie or something) and ideas for that are also requested.

If it ends up not working out, we might shrink this whole plan down into a secret room in another game or drop it all together, but we're both pretty excited about trying this.

Now I'm imagining me as an NPC that wanders about some area randomly spouting off meaningless facts as players run by: "Avoid Hugely Wuthering Creepy Snakes, my son, for they will eat your soul," and "the odds of surviving an asteroid field are approximately...". On the other hand, you could make me an annoying quest giver: "There's this piece of information I really want to know on micro-dyson spheres, my lad, but I'm to lazy to look it up, so you'll need to find the Hugely Wuthering Creepy Snake, kill it, and find a copy of the information somewhere in its corpse."

Yes, Loki is the legendary Norse god of Mischief, and has been around for a very, very, long time.

But if you're not comfortable with using an existing name, go ahead and use "Phillip" because that's a cool name and it also belongs to me.

I'm not sure. It will probably depend on how much we can think of to do with it. But at this point I think we already have enough people to make it a whole game. We just need to figure out what will be going on, and maybe even a coherent plot. Maybe.

Yeah, you can use my username for a character. You can probably make a decent character from my username, and since it's Spanish for 'male' there should be no copyright or trademark concerns.

I'd be willing to help, if I can. I know nothing about coding or anything related to the technical stuff. I can help with artistic design (because a game is incomplete without art and pixely stuff ) The most I can do is create simple non-animated sprites. I might as well get the practice. But I'll have more time to help during summer. But I think it'll be fine, seeing as how long it takes to make an rpg-game (which is why I never bothered to try. xD). I am also a very beginnier spriter, but I can promise I will try to help.
