I think almost all of us have creatures in our world that can't quite count as an intelligent race, but aren't completely unintelligent too. I think they deserve a category all their own: Intelligent Creatures. :dieshappy: So, since I have a few of those, I thought it only fair that I share a couple with you. :)

Shenenogh (also known as Shelogh or Salondae) - A lionlike, semi-intelligent creature, who is known and feared by all and sundry. He is covered in a shaggy coat of tawny hair, and has a mane. He goes about on his hind feet for the most part, but slinks like an ape. Incidentally, his face is similar to that of a baboon, and his teeth are long and sharp. A flap of skin hangs down over his forehead, and he will use the weapons of unfortunate travelers who blunder into his territory.

Rigala (known as Righten by the Masurhiente) - A mountain troll, basically, with a small brain. They do have a language, but it is extremely limited, and is only used when necessary. Rigalas operate by brute force mostly, but if they can gather a band of outlaws around themselves, they will do so, even though it requires more exertion of their small intelligence.

I'll try and post sketches of Shenenogh and Rigala as soon as they are available. :) So stay tuned! :dieshappy:

Do these animals live in groups or are they sedentary? What do they eat?
Great job, Miss Milly!

Great job, Miss Milly!

Actually, both creatures are kind of hermits...

Thanks. :D

What do they eat, normally?

Nicely done! I can't wait for more. :D

Thanks, Elly!

The Shenenogh eats whoever and whatever he can catch (nasty, I know), and the Rigala eats mainly sheep, or other livestock. Basically what he can pillage. He never eats people, though.

I'll try and get pictures up soon.

Okay, the promised sketches! Erm, the one of Shenenogh might seem a little too...detailed...but since I'm weirdly violent, I draw semi-violent pictures sometimes and can't tell the difference. :P

Yes, I know, I didn't draw that puddle of blood very well.

Those are awesome! I wish I could draw like that, it would definitely add to explaining my world and by the way, that is the best pool of blood I've ever seen. :dieshappy:

The Rigala look very interesting; almost like Orcs or something. Good job, Milly :)

Very nice creatures, Milly. :D I like your pictures too. And I agree with Sven, the Rigala is very troll-ish. ;)
