I'm actually not on the sci-fi side (I think they call it the Dark Side? :P ), but from what I've heard, it's pretty awesome, so I'm guessing you'll have just as much fun here. ;)

Hey guys [accepts pie and dodges glitter]. Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, I originally joined because of the sci-fi forum but found this realm (and the historical realm) as well.

A fav author of mine is Stephen Lawhead. If you haven't, read the Albion cycle. And while you're at it, the King Raven cycle as well. I'm also a fan of F. Paul Wilson (lives near my hometown). He's more lovecraftian horror.

Looking forward to good discussions on this (and other forums).

I've read Lawhead's King Raven trilogy, and his Hall of the Dragon King series. I've never the Albion cycle. Is it good?
