"Elanor" was the name of the golden flower in Lothlorien in LOTR. And so, it only seemed fitting that our lovely Lady Elanor Mimetes have a golden ring to match her namesake.

Just kidding, there was a bit more thought than just that. But either way, Lady Elanor Mimetes is now officially a Marcher Lord.
