Nice.

I'm also on track for Nano still...though my writing has slowed considerably as I get to more difficult parts of the story. :P

I wrote 6,000 words in The Diegosian Warrior (third book in the trilogy) today!!!!! I had to scrap about 600 words, because I just couldn't get to story to work, and then once I did, it started flowing!!!

Some of the writing today involved rough skeletons and dialogue for chapter 5, and about 4,500 of those words were to finish up the scene from chapter 4!!!

I have a lot of touch up work to do, and I'll need to add more detail and reread stuff, but it was a good day's work, and I am very happy with it. Now I'll just have to work on getting what I have all polished up, before I start figuring out how I want to write the next scene. :)

Oh, and instead of really dealing with the War Council Scene, I just put [insert war council stuffage]. It worked and allowed me to keep going. :D

Does nobody like war council scenes except me? :?

Is it because mine generally involve holographic planets and bright colors, or am I just nerdy when it comes to military science?

I am actually considering dropping NaNo because school is taking so long. I don't want to do drop it, but it might be my only choice.

You guys are still on skype? O.O I thought I had missed you all, since I ended up working on my book all day! If you're still on I could pop by.

I like war council scenes, Varon, but I'm not very good at it, and I'm not sure what my guys are supposed to be doing, at the moment. Battle scenes are actually rather fun for me, but that's different that strategizing. :D

And my trilogy is fantasy, so holograms don't work. ;)

Well, I just got off, I don't know if people are still on or not...but if an Airi got on I might return for a few minutes.

I also like war council scenes, I'm just not smart enough to do them very well. :P

Kaitlyn! You are SO good at war council scenes!!! I am in awe of them!

Just yesterday (or the day before) I was promoting your war council scenes.

I don't remember what my last goal was... But Repetition is going very well, I think. Much better than any of my previous stories at least, and I'm coming very close to 70k. I hope to hit 70k and hopefully actually finish the story this month so I can take a break from writing. :)

November is done, and so is chapter three, and with a total word count of over 16.5K, too! ^_^

I'd like to get two chapters done in December, but we'll see how that shapes up.

Goal: Get Conviction ready to write by the end of January
Goal: Finish preparing for writing Retaliation (date unknown right now, it'll be based on when I get Conviction ready)

And no, Conviction is in no way related to the Battlehost Trilogy. It's a standalone steampunk-fantasy. ;)

Well, book one of Supervillains is done. I don't care what anyone thinks about it, unless it's a typo I'm not rewriting another word of that book.

And I have only two months to rewrite Book 2, and I haven't touched it since I wrote it the first time back in June. Joy, joy, joy....

Wonderful! Well done, Jaynin!

I'm working on it! I will have it back to you ASAP; I have been so busy, which isn't a good excuse. But there it is! I'll try and finish it off very soon! (like within the week!)

Elanor and Lycanis - Thanks a bunch, both of you. :D As long as you get back to me sometime this month that would be great. It'll be my main project pretty much from now until the end of January.

Hm, I don't think I've posted here before. Is there an accountability thing? (Like if you don't meet your goals, people fill your pm box with complaints and demands?) Anyway...

Goal 1: To edit/work on/rewrite The Last Storming (NaNo) so that I'm ready to write its sequel next year. XD To be done by the end of September.
Goal 2: To get The Turq Wars ready for next year's NaNoWriMo. To be done by the end of October.
Goal 3: To finally finish the first draft of Carousel and be able to post every last word here. To be done by the end of July. This one scares me...
Goal 4: To get two items--poem or short story, probably--published sometime this coming year, likely on a non-paying e-magazine type thing. To be done by the end of December 2013.

Well, I have reviewed the first 4 chapters and have them as finished as they will be for this draft. I have been working on the 5th chapter today, and hope to finish it by this evening, if all goes well. :D

This is for The Diegosian Warrior (book 3), by the way. :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

That's great, Airi! :D I hope that goes well. ^_^

Still been working on Repetition. I don't expect to finish this year like I'd hoped to, so my new goal is to get at least a thousand words on it each day 'til the first draft is done. :P

Mine is to finish the planning for DSQ by midsummer, and then proceed to drafting.

I got 1,300. Not as much as I wanted, because I ran into a problem, but at least it was some progress!!

Well, I am making it today. :) So I'm excited. I worked past the section I couldn't get last night, and I'm now trying to write the last part of the scene that will wrap up chapter five, so I'm going strong at the moment and feeling immensly pleased. :D

Me too. :D I'm now up to 3,000 words and I just need to figure out how to wrap up this scene with the information I need to add into the end of it.
