Wow! Lots of random facts since I was last on here.

Ummm.... Next random fact, I am an expert when it comes to milking goats, and can milk out a goat before they can finish eating their grain. :D

I has no idea. :P

Random fact - I had another nightmare last night, only it wasn't about cars. Me and a friend whose name I can't remember were, for some reason, wandering around at night, and then we started getting chased by these serial killers with clown masks on. :P

Random fact #3691857: I forgot about this thread and was never notified of new posts, so I missed a lot and haven't gotten to read it all yet. :(

Random fact #489185: I couldn't sleep for quite awhile last night. I think it might've been due to the nanowrimo planning I did...

Random fact #6019567: Parkour is a method of moving around/through/over/under/near things in the most energy-efficient manner available (while looking extremely awesome). I've wanted to do it before...but I know better than to really set my hopes on it. :P

I say it's a combination of running, gymnastics, acrobatics, and just in general, being awesome when late for class. It includes things like jumping over walls, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, jumping down staircases, and other things that look like part of a martial arts/action movie.

I have gone back to my roots this year for NaNo, writing a historical pulpy adventure novel again.

Sounds extremely fun; I often do that in the forest outside my house (minus the rooftop and staircase things). I might try it out some day.

That is awesome. There are people who do forest parkour and such, but I can't really find any Youtube videos of it.

Random Fact: I want to be an explorer.

*takes this as a challenge for when they get their milking goats* ;)

- My left hip plays up when I play the keyboard at church, because I need to stand up and use my right foot on the pedal, leaving all my weight on my left. I must look funny stumbling off the stage.

- I have a thin scar almost two inches long on top of my left arm, just before my wrist. I scratched it on a piece of wire when I was little, and it wasn't even that big an injury, but the scar has surprisingly stayed there.

- I don't like pasta cabonara. At all. :pale:

- I can type over 80WPM.

Facts and things:

I sleep with a giant stuffed moose. I know what you're thinking, but honestly, it's not what it sounds. I promise. Seriously.

I think parkour would be cool. We have a herd (3 actually) of dogs at our house right now, and we often barricade them in the kitchen, so I've become quite adept at jumping the gates.

When I can't think of what to type, I usually sit and twiddle with small oddments on the desk.

If writing doesn't work out, I would probably be... Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one.

I did. :D

When I was 5 or 6 I asked my mom what my bear was named. She said he had no name and I could name him whatever I wanted, so I named him "No Name."

Nope. :D Once I name something I usually don't change it. Even my family calls him No Name.

I'm also notoriously bad at naming things. When my sister was born I saw a door and wanted to name her "Doory" and then "Lighty" when I looked up and saw a lightbulb. I still call her Doory from time to time. :D

My sister has a teddy bear named "Puppy" because she really wanted a dog for Christmas that year and we just gave her a teddy bear. But we kept teasing her that it was a puppy. :D

Hehe, yeah. I'm a verified name freak. I name everything. Once, I had about... fifteen animal puzzles on my wall. One of them had about forty animals in it. I named them all. *headdesk* I name everything.

Now I don't feel bad saying it... :D ... At last count - Which was albeit almost a year ago - I had 120-some stuffed animals. :dieshappy: :dieshappy: :dieshappy: And I named them all. And my brother and I created a universe with them in it, and they have a space fleet and an empire, and alliances, and etc., etc. Important note below:

SERIOUSLY. IT ISN'T AS IMMATURE/KIDDIE AS IT SOUNDS

  Sounds like C.S. Lewis and his brother. Even mighty trees started as small seeds. :book:

You guys are cracking me up. Who knew such an innocent statement could end up turning into a shared passion. I would add that during my younger years *cough - is very old now - cough* my siblings and I did all kinds of things with our horde of stuffed animals. My sister and I would even conduct secretive games in our room while we were supposed to be sleeping. Those were fun times. :D

Yeah, so that was my trip down nostalgia lane.

Random facts: I'm working on getting my author website/blog up and running.

I have a lot of reading to do (which is a good thing).

I love having adopted sisters. ^_^

What Waits in Shadow (fantasy short story--editing)
The Stranger's Gift (fantasy short story--editing)
The Crystal Orb (fantasy short story--writing)
And too many half-started ideas to count

 My younger sister and I would do that too, when we were kids, but not necessarily with stuffed animals. We would sleep at around 9 or 10 in the evening, then get up at around 3 or 4 in the morning to play pretend. We'd use our blankets as capes, gowns, tents, or whatever.

I think we just told our Mom this year. She freaked out because we were supposed to be sleeping during those times. ;)

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
