Okay, so, does anyone else have theme songs for themselves or their characters, or am I just crazy?

...

That was a rhetorical question.

Anyway. One of my characters, Sireus Teono, had a theme song--The End of the Innocence, by Don Henley. But I never wrote a novel for him. As for myself, I'm fairly certain that Unwell, by Matchbox 20 was written especially as a theme song for me. :P

How about everybody else?

I've always thought that Dominick Cobb (from Inception)'s theme should be "Time Won't Let Me Go" by The Bravery, but Cobb isn't me (thankfully) or one of my characters (unfortunately).

I don't know..."Viva La Vida" (Coldplay) for the High Priest, for Hurion I'd have to go with "Lightning's Hand" (Kansas) and "Spy Hunter" (Project 86), for Baan I think of "Evil (A Chorus of Resistance)" (Project 86).

For myself..."No Cars Go" and "Sprawl II" (Arcade Fire), and the Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven, although I hope you didn't need to be told).

I am Ebed Eleutheros, redeemed from slavery in sin to the bond-service of my Master, Jesus Christ.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).
