Neil of Erk wholeheartedly supports the color blue, in all its forms, especially dark/navy blue.
In fact, I dare say 80% of my clothes are dark blue. Most of the rest has blue on it somewhere, in the form of stripes, etc.
What does this say about me? Well, someone once told me that blue is a depressing color, but personally, it makes me feel happy and dramatic. My favorite kind of weather would be stormy+cloudy+rainy+windy+on a beach+on the Northern Oregon coast+the ocean being really noisy.
Not depressing in the least. Then again, my mother calls me Eeyore and my friends have likened me to Puddleglum.
I'm also partial to dark green, as in evergreen forest+cloudly+rainy+on a mountain.

That sounds wonderful! I love the sound of the ocean hitting the shore.

Puddleglum. XD I may nickname you that actually.
It is wonderful! That is the only thing I don't like about where I actually live (I live in a desert steppes/high desert area, very far inland).
I hereby decree that you and anyone who wants to are entitled to call me Puddleglum. (I actually hope you will, since I've never really had a nickname on HW, which is odd considering how long I've been on here.)
Aw, Puddleglum. My mom will get a kick out of that.

Methinks that perhaps the colors of the fantasy board are influencing are personal color choices (*coughes* blue *coughes*).
Haha it just might be, Neil, considering how many blue lovers there are.
I think the reason is more that smart people like the color blue and like to write fantasy...

So when you get a bunch of smart people who like fantasy in one place and ask them their favorite color...
Possibly Rea, considering my closet consistes of blue red and black but blue being the majority. XD Plus smart people do like the color blue.
Blue just fits with the fantasy and high culture and deep intelligence you find on this forum.
Blue+fantasy=smart. It explains so much...

I actually don't wear hardly any blue, even though I love it. My coloring doesn't work well with blues, I guess.

This doesn't mean you aren't smart! You love fantasy and you love blue.
Actually, part of the reason that I wear blue so much is that blues are much more common in the casual/semi-casual type clothes that I like to wear. And jeans are blue. Jeans are the only pants you will ever see me in, unless I am forced to wear something else (in fact, I rarely even wear shorts, jeans are just better).
haha PuddleGlum it is then :3 and yes I wear jeans constantly unless like you said I am forced to wear something else.

There was another thread on favorite colors, but that was a poll, whereas this is more of a discussion, talking about why you like them and so on. I don't think they should be merged....
Anyways, my favorite color is black. I don't know why, and for some reason whenever I try and figure it out I have an aversion to thinking about it. But I like white and gray too -- I love monochrome. And I love dark, deep colors, and pale, pale colors.
The only blue I really like, though, is indigo. I like other colors better than blue generally.
Deep Dark colors are nice. I have a friend named Indigo

Actually I just read that, according to some, the color blue inspires creativity, so maybe that has something to do with it...
That would explain why I like to sit under a clear cloudless sky when I write. Gets my creative juices flowing.

I've heard that, too!
I also heard stormy weather can be inspirational as well.
