*pokes head in*

Am I too late to join?

(And, question... do I have to participate every week? Like, if I were especially busy one week and decided not declare a goal, would I lose points? Or would I be alright until the next week?)

You most certainly are not too late to join, Abby!

You only lose points for declaring a goal and failing to meet it. There are no penalties for missing a week, though you may find my assistant in your inbox poking and pestering you to make a goal.

Awesome! I think I will next week!

You think you'll still be around in forty minutes or so? After that amount of time passes, I'll be able to use the computer that has Skype on it. ^^

No, you need to get it higher than that! 100 is an even better number. ;)

Yes, Phili! *cheers on* ^_^

Set a point goal and try to reach it! I'm still trying to pass Faith, though it hasn't been going in my favour yet. *High-fives Faith for doing such a good job of being hard to keep up with* ;)

Exactly. And I suppose, sir Wolf-head-of-the-pack, that you know this from experience?

I'll try to catch you, but bear in mind that since I only started two weeks ago, it might take awhile. D:

I don't know if a question like this goes here, but I thought I'd ask. Am I limited to one personal goal a week?

Er...yeah, I mean...the longer you're at the top, the more you want to stay there. ;) :dieshappy:

Good! I'm sure it's possible for you to--you'll just have to do multiples of the weekly challenges when you have extra writing time. =D

Yes. If you look at mine, you see a bunch of small goals, but they are all lumped together because you only get points for one personal goal each week.
(You're fine asking that here, but I suppose it might be better to ask it on one of the weekly challenge threads next time.)

When I first started the challenges, I thought I'd like to dethrone Lycanis. Then I told myself to get my head out of the clouds and that there was no way that was happening. XD

XD I'm sure it can be done. It just would take determination (and a bit of comptetitiveness, because that's what got me there in the first place ;)) Oh, and a lot of writing. :dieshappy:

Don't feel bad; I'm in the same boat. :pale: I like to think that writing is my job, and I'll keep to that until I actually discover whether I can make any money. If not... :pale:

Yeah... :P Most writers need to get a job of some kind, unfortunately. :pale:

That's all right. I was the same way when I was younger. Don't fret, you're too young to be worrying about such things as jobs, and you've got a head start over me in the writing category. I didn't start until I was 17. :)

Oh, and by the way, writing IS a job (if you can make it pay the bills, anyway :( ).

That makes me feel a little better. And yeah, I guess I am and have. ^_^ Though you have an advantage over me by having started your writing after you got a better education. I don't know how it's an advantage, it just is. XD

I know... but it's hard. :(

Yay! :dieshappy: Yes you should, that's a 100% increase--the biggest advance you'll ever get percentage wise. ;)

*chuckles fondly* Right now I'm not sure I'd remember a number goal if I set one, but I'll keep working on raising my score. ;)
