Uh, which one were we talking about?

I have glasses and I'm perfectly content with them (however, they can get in the way sometimes ). The thought of contacts makes me shudder.

I have small eyes (or a big face) and my glasses make them look bigger...
They do get in the way, but I like them.

Okay, sorry. That's amazing! You'll have a ton of fun with it, I promise. I used to have a horse, but had to get rid of it because of finance problems (hence the crying smiley; brought back memories).

*winces at the thought of contacts* I've worn glasses for several years already. Many people have suggested I get contacts instead...but I always come across a problem: how do I put them on?! It seems so difficult!

Random fact: I have more books than shelves.

Too late, I already did. Contacts are much, much better. And they're really not that hard to put in...it was the getting them out that confused me at first. XD

This is one of those problems I don't mind having.

How did I only just discover this awesome thread? *makes amends* Love all these random facts! It tells so much about y'all.

1. I sing when I'm happy. Therefore I'm nearly always singing. You can tell if I'm unhappy, because I'm not singing.
2. I was born with dislocated hips and was in plaster for six months? Can't remember. Since then, I have always admired people who can sit cross-legged because I have never been able to do it successfully.
3. I love white chocolate.
4. I am missing four adult pre-molars because they were pulled out when I was about 14.
5. I LOVE to swim! I swim best underwater, and I love deep water. The deeper the better! It's like an entire other world under the surface, and it's like freedom to me.

Random fact, I am paranoid about locks. If I lock something, I have to check it at least twice. I've even turned my car around and drove back down the street to make sure I locked the front door before leaving for work.

Random fact - I've got a phobia of needles. I know, I know, nobody likes needles. But when I even see one, I get all shaky, I can't breathe, and I start crying.

Random fact - I stabbed myself under my thumbnail again. This time with a tack.

Girls, girls. There is no "too much." Everyone is different and has different emotional needs. It's okay.

It is possible to learn how to swim. I learnt at a very early age though, so that might be why I enjoy it so much. (Nearly drowning at the age of 5 didn't stop me liking it, strangely enough...)

I've nearly drowned a couple times, and I still like swimming. *shrug*

Me neither...and at church where everyone can see doesn't count.

Random fact: I was telling stories and fantasizing before I started writing. Writing has basically been a proper fulfillment of a bad habit born of discontentment. Crazy how God uses things like that, huh?

I love swimming as well, even though I haven't come close to drowning. The nearest thing I can think of is when we're playing this intense game in our pool and it's either feel like your lungs are about to explode or let the other team score a point. Yeah, swimming is a blast.

Random fact - My family isn't celebrating Christmas this year. My mom doesn't feel like it; since we've lost three family members this year, she just feels like it would be awkward and disrespectful. To be honest, I can't blame her...

Aw, that's hard (losing family, mostly). I hope the grieving process goes...um. Well, as grieving processes go.

Random fact: I am always very cold, even when everyone else says it's perfectly a nice warmth in the house, and I tend to go around during the day wrapped in my wooly red dressing-gown. If visitors arrive, I run and exchange it for a cardigan.

I don't know how to swim. And since my self-preservation level is so high, I feel like I'm going to be swept away and drown.

My friend didn't help any: He dragged me out 20 feet from shore and then left me there. I think I actually almost drowned.

Random fact - My mom makes sure everyone in the family eats enough and not too much. I'm kind of happy, because that's kept me from becoming anorexic...
