I think the most beautiful name to say is Taisia Tinuviel. It just rolls off the tongue and sounds totally elvish (I wonder why!).

The funniest name I've seen is NotThatShort Mimetes hands down.

The most creative name...well, there are so many, I would run out of room.

I've noticed a lot of sirs, but I have yet to come across a lord. Perhaps I'm unique...

So, you might be wondering how this thread grew so much in the past few minutes. Well, I have moved all chatter and comment-type posts from the Changing User Names thread in Official Announcements. You can read the reasons why there, but basically that thread is to be announcements only with no chatter. Any comments related to names goes here in this thread. If you want to talk specifically about username pronunciation, Lady Elanor started this thread over here. I'm sorry about the inevitably confusion and mess caused by moving around all these posts, but from now on, everything should be much simpler and tidier. Thank you!

Well technically, Neil of Erk is actually Neil III the Golden, Lord Commander of Erk. But he's commonly called Neil of Erk because that's a little simpler. I could have used the name of Lord Jonathan, Neil III's most loyal supporter, but not only does it not sound as good, it would also get me confused with Jonathan Garner.

Of course, Neil III also had a knighthood, which is an essential credential to be a Lord of Erk, so you could call him "Sir", but you'd probably get in trouble.

So, yeah, you're unique, just don't forget my rank.

If you're wondering about what my name means now... well.. Skipper is from Penguins of Madagascar, and Marlene is the otter from Penguins of Madagascar. Marlene also gives a more feminine feel to the name. I don't know if I'll keep it. Just trying it for now.
