This is just one of those funny little threads to stimulate the brain. Similar to the hide-and-seek thread, this is an amusing way to develop characters. Think about a band. A musical band. What role do you see your characters filling if they decided to form a musical group? Here are some of mine.

Lyna: Drummer. She's energetic, loud, and pretty stable. She keeps people going.
Melany: Keyboard. She's versatile, in the background, and holds things together.
Guilo: Bassist. A bit secretive, but complementary to the lead's style.
Kaida: Secondary Guitar. The one who plays all the interesting little notes that are subtle but give things a unique flare.
Tanner: The lead. Center of attention, the one we'll notice. He doesn't always write the music, but we'll see him playing it even if it means a diversion.
Timothy: The trumpet. He doesn't get to play often, but he does so with gusto.

I only used human characters but you can do whatever you want with yours. *sits back and waits for more wackiness*

 Most entertaining. Unfortunately, I really don't think I could pull it off with my characters. Mostly because I don't know enough about bands or band stereotypes to have any idea of what position to put them in. :(

This would be more for an orchestra/ensemble, but the viola is stereotypically given the boring parts and then forgotten. (Says the happy violist.) So if you have a character who is ignored and given all the mundane work, that character is like a viola. ^_^
