What you're seeing here is the result of thoroughly separating reading posts from responding to them ... I read updates to threads and fora I'm subscribed to in a text-console browser, and leave those threads I want to respond to in my inbox---then, some time (usually a few minutes to an hour, but occasionally even a month) later, I open them up in Firefox and make my reply (to everything in the thread that's come up all at once).


I'll see what I can do ... we'll see what the gallery holds. (I'm not a very competent artist---I can do concept sketches and the occasional map, but not much beyond that---so I won't be creating and uploading my own.)

Jeremiah/Lycanis: I think you were one of the very first people I spoke to at length on HW. Everyone made me feel welcome, but you most of all, and I can't begin to say how much I appreciate it. You're kindhearted and polite--whenever I'm feeling down, and you ask me why, you make sure to add that I don't have to say what's bothering me if I don't want to. Your Realms Beyond forum is amazing, and I enjoy returning there to read through it. You're a great writer, and believe me--you'll be a lot younger than 50 when you get your first book published.

Black Hawk/Blackie: You seem to always be able to tell when I'm telling a white lie about how I'm feeling; and you give me the chance to tell you how I'm feeling, and if I don't really feel like it, all I need to do is say so, and you let it go. Plus, we're color buddies! I remember once I joined the chat and when I greeted you with 'Blackie!', you returned the greeting with: 'Gray!'. That made me smile. You're easygoing with a warm disposition. And you don't mind being tackle-hugged by a certain insane little sister in a public chat. XD

Elizabeth/Shorty: Whenever I'm feeling upset about something, you're always willing to listen, and you don't mind if I make an unplanned call to speak with you. You always have advice to give me; you're a very helpful big sister. Even if you're feeling upset about something, you somehow find the energy to try and give me a hand with whatever I'm struggling with. You're definitely funny enough to be a professional comedian--sometimes I join the Skype call and figure I'm just going to stay quiet the whole time because I'm feeling upset about something. My plan fails as soon as you join the chat. I just can't help but to laugh at most of the things you say or the imitations you do; you're just too funny. I'm sorry, but I just can't find you intimidating. XD I did at first, but I just can't now. Also, I'm sorry for teasing you about your eyes on Thursday. I didn't mean anything by it; even if you're not my big brother, I still treat you like I'm your little sister. Anytime it gets too annoying, just let me know. XD

BushMaid/Busheh: I've known you for several years, but I never really got to know you until I joined HW. Varon and Tsuro never told me you were on here, and I was pleasantly surprised when I found out. You're very nice and considerate--it seems like whenever I tell you how I'm feeling, you have some sort of blog post or song to send that makes me feel better. And hey, you're my Inkheart-partner-in-crime! I can't wait for April Fools to roll around. And I found a recording on a contest somewhere around here with you singing; and wow, you have an amazing voice!

Jessie Quill/Mango: You're on the Skype call almost every week to talk. I haven't spoken to you much on HW, but I have on Skype, and you're a fun person to talk to. I'm still trying to think about whether I'll try out for that open position in your project; I still think my voice is way too awful to narrate anything. : P But you're an amazing writer and I hope to get to know you better in the weeks to come.

Seer/Jordan: Goodness, where to start? I can't quite remember who the first person I talked to on Skype was, but I'm fairly certain it was you. It was you and Shorty who usually tend to make me talk when we're on Skype. XD I remember I was beating around the bush, trying to avoid answering your question of 'How are you?' on a Skype call, and you wouldn't let it go 'til I told you. Then you very kindly dropped it, so I didn't have to go into details, along with an, "I hope you feel better soon". You do a wonderful job of keeping this forum running and working, even though it must be extremely hard at times. Also, I'm sorry about pestering you to let me see a picture of you with your hair down. I won't do it anymore, cross my heart.

Cat Noordzook: Once Upon A Time buddies! XD I love the fact that I finally have someone I can fangirl over 'Rumbelle' with. It's nice being completely certain that there's at least one person who won't be annoyed by my random 'RUMPELSTILTSKIN!' outbursts. Not only that, but you're fun to be around and I enjoy talking to you.

Elly Keaton/El: First time I met you was on the NaNoWriMo YWP forums; not the best of places to meet someone, I admit now. But I've gotten to know you much better now on HW, and feel blessed for it. I love hearing you ramble about Michael J. Fox, and I just overall have a ton of fun chatting with you. I hope to talk with you more in the near future.

Captain Nemo: Granted, we haven't spoken much lately, but I've enjoyed talking about the Hulk with you. XD It's hard for me to find people who aren't my mom's age that know about all these old shows. It was great fun when we had that little roleplay session in the chat, where I picked David up in my nonexistent car and took him to town. It makes me smile sometimes to think that I'm probably the only person who ever picked him up when he was hitchhiking, at least on the show. XD I hope you can manage to make it to one of the Skype calls for longer than a few minutes someday.

Nevik Wolf-Spirit/Kevin: Can't forget you, 'specially since you say you'll be more active on HW in the days to come; I'mma holding you to your word, Kev. *mock glare* XD I know that no matter how much of a jerk I can be sometimes, you won't get angry. I tell you a lie about a certain Pinterest board while you were on the phone with me, and when I apologize on chat the next day, bracing myself for you to be hurt, you simply say that we're friends, and friends don't feel bad emotions towards each other, no matter what it was. Then, to break the ice, you add that you probably would have lied your head off about the same thing. I hope we're friends for a long time yet; you're funny, nice, and I enjoy rambling about wolves and Once Upon A Time and the 'Crazy Tumblr Lady Caper' with you. You're my half-Irish, half-Scottish Brother Wolf, and I enjoy your company.
