Max: Wait... The townsfolk threw us in the dungeon.

Max: *thinks* Maybe we shouldn't tell them about the treasure we're looking for. They'll take it for themselves. *talks* We were just exploring.
Large man: Exploring the private village of the Buanahomians?
Zach: Private..?
Large man: Were you aware that trespassing in the private village of the Buanahomians is an offense punishable by death?
Max: I'm sure none of us were aware. Now, if you'll excuse us, we'll just be going, and you'll never see us again-
Large man: Going? Ha! I laugh. Guards, throw them in the dungeon! All of them!

Zach: So what do we do now? Huddle?
Max: Huddle? Seriously?
Zach: Isn't that...what people do when they have to deliberate on something?

Now would be quite an opportune time to introduce a character of mine who is proficient with a crossbow, but that would feel like cheating.

Zach: *yanks Max off the ground* *pulls out sword* Max, get out of here! Our dumb author hasn't given you a weapon skill yet!
Max:

*wishes a panther could be beat with her fists* *goes to Lemon instead while the panther is distracted by the others* Little girl, come on, we need to get out of the way! *takes her hand and runs*

Me: *sits bolt upright* DID MY CHARACTER JUST CALL ME... *falls down and snores*
Celia: *wakes up*

Me: *wakes up* Huh? What? why am I on the ground outside my Frog-hill-hole? Where are Zach and Max? Why-
Celia: *facepalm* SHH.

Celia: There was some kind of gas in the kitchen that put all the authors to sleep. Astronomer just woke you up. There's also a weird sideways water thingy in the fridge. The characters went through, and now I have no idea where they are or if they're okay. And you were talking in your sleep practically the whole time-that was all that kept me from dying of utter boredom.
Me: Gas-Astro-sideways-characters-talking-sleep...
Celia: Calm down.

Come on, now that you're up, we can follow them! *helps up the woozy me and yanks me toward the hobbit-hole*
