*chuckles at the title *

Okay. I have to go out east. Again. For another month.

These trips are a bit stressful to me- more than a bit, actually- but I have decided something. I’m not going to let this stress me out. I’m going to see it as a positive thing.

Being gone means that there are many, many things I HAVE to cut out of my schedule, because I have no choice. It complicates things as well, but it does free up my time. So, I have devised some goals for myself, whilst I am away.

1st: I plan on making lots of progress on my book while I am gone. The ability to get away from certain interruptions will allow me to, I hope, focus on the final book in my trilogy.

2nd: I plan on doing lots of art, sewing, photography- things I never have time for unless I am doing something for a client.

3rd: I plan on working on the Podcast and blog, really developing them and implementing some of the things I’ve been working on.

4th: This will give me lots of time to do my Peter’s Angel work, which is a really cool, providential blessing.

5th: I plan on keeping up on the forum, spending some time in chat, and doing some voice skyping with people.

That’s right. I’m not really going to be gone anywhere. I’ll have full internet access (except when we are driving and so forth), so the only time you will be aware that I am away is when I’m driving (2 day travel to get there and 2 day travel to get back) or sightseeing (if I do any sightseeing).

So, this is a heads up, just to let everyone know. Also, this is a “guess what, I’m coming to town!” for anyone who would like to get together. We are unsure yet if we will be staying in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, at this point, but I’ll let ya’ll know when I’m for sure.

I leave this Tuesday, which is a big stressor because I have a lot of things to get in place before we leave (Daddy’s company is pressuring us to leave as soon as possible), so pray that we get things taken care of, in order, and that nothing catastrophic will happen while I am away from home. I also have to figure out what I’m doing with LaFangel, Riley, and Lennox. Cinder and Cricket are taken care of, but my other babies require a bit more taking care of. I’m hoping to arrange to take them with me, which would be another stress relief for me, but we will have to see…

Anyways, that’s my heads up.

I'll pray! :) I hope things go well for you, and you don't feel too rushed with all these happenings. Have a safe journey, and I am glad we will not see less of you. *Hugs*

Have a great time, Airi. :D I look forward to getting progress updates on those things. :D

I have to ask, who are Cinder, Cricket, LaFangel, Riley, and Lennox? You've made me curious.

Awww! What a lovely little influx of well wishes to come to this evening after a long drive!! *hugs you all but keeps her box of huggses for herself *

It was a long drive, but we have survived. ;) Elainna did pretty good today, which was a mercy. Travis is also well (is very sad she will not see her baby brother- yes, I know he is 18 and I don't care, he's my baby- for a whole month!), so so far things are good. And I got a great start to getting things done! I got a questionnaire done I needed to do for someone, I got a chapter read for someone I was supposed to get done, I did some edits for my book, I wrote 2 blog posts, 2 movie reviews, and... I'm forgetting something, I know...

Anyways, good progress. :D

@Azzie: I run an animal rescue, Azzie. LaFangel (it is a conglomeration of Little Fat Angel- I call him Angle of Fange for short) is my very first rescue (12 years old) and my spoiled baby!

And yes, he really is that big! All 14 pounds of him.

Cricket is my bottle baby. She's 7 years old now and I've had her since she was 3 weeks old. Her mother had abandoned her because she had an infection and she couldn't let her infect the other kittens in the litter. So, when I was exploring the barn (it was on an old farm), I stumbled across her, starving and barely able to breathe from her upper repertory infection. She's been with me ever since.

Cinder's full name is actually Cinder Soot. Our town is very superstitious, thus black cats are killed, tossed in creeks, throwns out of cars as they drive by- you get the picture. So, I have had 5 black cats over the last 12 years, and Cinder happens to be the only one I currently have (she is also 7- that was a busy year. We had 12 cats that year, total).

Sorry, twas the only good picture I had of her as an adult (lots of kitten pictures!). She's camera shy.

As for my babies... Riley and Lennox are my twins. :D

*nods sadly * We actually saw someone throw a kitten (black) out of a moving car, and brought it home. The poor baby's skin was loose in some areas where it had hit the pavement, and his face was quite battered. He didn't live long, due to the trauma. It is a cold reality....

I think this is more common in old communities like the one I live in. I always feel caught in two different worlds since I'm in the city so often, and yet I live in an old farming community with people who have never been further than 50 miles from their home.

Glad you liked the pictures. I figured, since I do talk about my babies so often, I should give some pictures for reference. :D These are the current babies on the farm, and 5 is a rather small number (of cats, not other animals), to be honest. Cats are the biggest thing needing rescue out here.

Nice pictures, Airi. It's so sad, isn't it, the pain that mankind are willing to put animals through. :(

I hope the next part of your journey goes well! :)

We have arrived! Elianna had a very rough day today, but we just got in, so she should settle down soon. We have to unload everything, but I hope to be done in about an hour. Funny, when you do as much travel as us, the extended stays all start looking really familiar, and I know where everything is. :P

@Wolf: I enjoy it. They are really fun, to be honest.

@Elanor: I know... God calls us to have dominion. Not to put the animals above ourselves, but most certainly not to mistreat them. We are to be their caretakers. It is always hardest when we have an abused animal that needs some rehabilitation.

I actually offended someone the other day because I told them that they deserved to be bitten by their dog... :P

 Oh, Airi! That's priceless, and I can just imagine you saying it; well I can't but I can. So funny! I am sure they deserved it!

Yeah... they did. Their dog snapped at them and then they got mad at the dog for snapping at them, which is when I told them they deserved to get bitten.

Glad you like it, Lizzie Love. :D

Me too. :D *begins packing to leave tomorrow *

So, as a heads up, guys, I will not be totally gone for this next trip, but I will only be in to check on things in the evenings. I will be back home Saturday night, and then my Sunday is brimming full with things to do before I head out on Tuesday for another week. So, if something comes up that needs immediate attention, have someone who has my number call me (will go and ask who, that has my number, would be okay with being my point of contact in case of emergencies) and I will deal with whatever needs to be dealt with swiftly.

So, I'll be hereish, but my time will be limited. :)

*giggles * You know me well, Jonathan. ;)

Okay, so the people who have agreed to be point of contacts for me are Eva Mimetes, Aubrey Hansen, and NotThatShort Mimetes. If I am needed, or something comes up, send them a pm or e-mail (depending on which you have and would prefer) and they'll ensure I am notified. :)
