After clearing ALL history from my browser history, I was finally able to log on this morning. Was there something happening this morning?

Wow! It worked! I was having the same problem, and I'm pretty sure everyone has. I'm guessing your solution is the only one, but we'll have to wait for Jay to come along and explain. :D

I just had that problem. I logged in but then the forum was the same (as in I couldn't tell I was logged in). But my username showed up as logged in on the bottom. Curious...

So I tossed my cookies , quit Safari and then logged back in. And it worked. :D

Okay, I was having the same problem. Now that one is fixed, but I can't login automatically anymore. I keep having to login every time I click on my stacked up e-mails that tell me I have a message. Any ideas guys?

Did you remember to click the little box next to where you log in that says to remember to log you in automatically?

Yep, it's doing it to me too. We had this problem a month or so ago, and it got fixed, and now we're having it again. :D

When you're busy sometimes it's hard to remember the smaller things in life. God only gave us a limited amount of brain space to use.

I had that problem until I saw this post. Does the hiding your online status button work?

Why would you want to hide your online status Shawn?

No reason. I was just wondering if the two were connected in any way. (My lack of technological knowledge is showing. :))

Only when he answers my various cries for help via e-mail and PM. He’s always very helpful to my poor ignorant self.

I’m not actually taking a class (I’m sure you got that), but I’m slowly building my knowledge. I’m running a blog at the moment which has really challenged me, and I’ve joined Eruheran’s team of book reviewers on IntotheBook. That has added to my learning skills.

I noticed the same thing, but I think it's because once you're logged in, it still says you are logged in for another 5 minutes even if you log out.

The "Active Users (based on activity in the last 5 minutes)", correct?

It is fixed for the .org domain, but the .com domain still has the auto login broken. Sadly. Still working on fixing that part.

P'raps. Try logging out, clearing site cookies, logging back in again (remembering to check the box), and then closing the tab and reopening HW again.

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

What do you mean, Janin? Er, uh, Vanya? It's confusing to have a promotion and a name change so close to each other... :D

Yay! It seems to be working for the .com, too. :D

It doesn't kick you off, but I don't think the auto-login is working yet, is it?

Hmmm... if you mean that when have logged into HW and you open HW on an additional tab, you have to login again, then yes, it's not working.

But now it saves my password and user name, and it didn't before...

Dunno if this is the right topic to post in. . .

I think HW is making me log in whenever I have to post for the first time on a tab, even though it shows me as logged in. There's my UCP and messages and name and everything, it just makes me log in when I click "submit" on a post. Then it takes me to a blank "post a reply" forum. I have to copy the message I've typed, hit submit, log in, and then copy and paste and submit again (it's fine the second time).

Glitch?

Katherine are you using HolyWorlds.com or HolyWorlds.org?
I think there are some outstanding login issues with the .com site.
You might try switching to .org to see if it works better for you.

The books or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came through them was longing. These things—the beauty, the memory of our own past—are good images of what we really desire; but if they are mistaken for the thing itself they turn into dumb idols, breaking the hearts of their worshippers. For they are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never yet visited.

All the things that have deeply possessed your soul have been but hints of it—tantalising glimpses, promises never quite fulfilled, echoes that died away just as they caught your ear... We cannot tell each other about it. It is the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable and unappeasable want . . . which we shall still desire on our deathbeds . . . ~C.S. Lewis

Wow. . . I didn't realize there was a .com vs .org site. .Org is working. Strange. I don't know how I got onto the .com site. I'll make sure I link to .org.

You just replace a holy worlds url with 'com' where it says 'org' and it will still work, just you will be logged out. :)

Sometimes when I follow the link from my notification email, it takes me to the .com. That might be how you get there without meaning to. Then I'll just switch out the endings like Jay said, and that fixes it.
