On July 5th, I saw Elanor's avatar change to the one saved as an attachment below. No one (that I've asked) can see it, not even Elanor.

If you can see the problem, please post a screenshot of it.

Elanor's actual avatar.

This is my avatar, and the one you should see when you look at my profile. I haven't ever seen the picture that Vivace posted before, and it shouldn't be an avatar as it's a human figure. Totally confused here as to why it's showing up for Vivace on my profile.

I once saw all the profile, quote, and edit buttons as a giant blue question mark, or a big smiley face at one point. I think it may be a glitch, because they eventually went away.

From my very limited knowledge of internet protocol, it sounds less like a glitch and more like a hacker or something. If there was a board error, why would it replace Elanor's profile with a smiley face or a question mark and not the whole page with an error message?

It's...not a hacker. Leastways, if it is, they don't have anything good to do with their time XD I don't know what causes it, though. :P

Well, it's a pretty neat picture any way about it. That pic isn't in our gallery though, or so I assume. I guess the best road would be to find the source of the picture file itself. Has something like that slipped into one of those Gdocs things I never understood?

Hmm... it *seems* like someone's up to no good. :P For that error to happen, someone would need to get into the files and replace Elanor's avatar with the one shown.

But there's no-one who would, and no reason for them to be doing pesky little things like that....

Plus, it appears to be right now...

Off my avatar I believe, Riah, as that's the one he sees on my profile. We're not sure where it's from.

*Summons Vivace to check if this was the case*

Right Elizabeth... which makes it seem like there's a problem on Vivace's end. It'd be interesting to see if that file is stored on his computer somewhere and what the directory is. I don't think there's any way though that a file from his computer could get confused with server files. /:

Could someone have hacked this on Vivace's computer? I have no idea why someone would want to though. :/

No, it's not from hacking. Last time this happened (I think it was a smiley face and a heart as buttons), it was that the server was doing some weird rearranging: this is probably the same deal, and only a fluke.

Just so people know, I just discovered the picture is album art to a certain band from Norway that produces epic-sounding music, to their song "Nero."
