As I mentioned in the thread in General Discussion, my family is going to the Non-Electrical Musical Funfest in Evart, Michigan. Wi-fi and electricity were available (mostly separately) last year, so I'm taking my laptop and hope to keep up reading HW, but I'll likely be even more dilatory than usual in responding to the threads I mean to. (I use a text-mode browser for reading, but will have to start up my entire desktop environment---which I won't usually start, to save battery and time---to start Firefox to reply.) God willing, we'll go up tomorrow (Monday 16 July) and come back next Sunday (22 July).

We've been back for about a week and a half now; I'm still not caught back up yet ...

We did enjoy our time at the festival---despite the heat, and the lack of shade (we couldn't camp in our usual place because under new, or at least newly enforced, state rules about the minimum size allotted to each campsite there were only twelve "slots" in the "West Pines" area, so we had a site designed for an RV), and the rain the first day of the festival proper---but we came home exhausted. It was a good time of music, conversation with friends, more music, dancing (on Friday night), more music ... :)

Sounds fun! I'm glad you were able to have a good time despite some of the inconvenient circumstances. :)
