Geo: Hehehe. Haven't chased someone in a while. *zips through alley and runs after boy*

Charlotte: I don't care what the statue is as long as it's not based on anything tangible.

Tynx: [Races after everyone else] Catch him! [Tynx suddenly dives through a window. The sound of clattering vibrates out from said window, and soon Tynx jumps back out] Bad, bad, bad idea. Those kind of shortcuts always work in the movies! [Jumps over a fallen crate and rushes onward]

Kitty: *catches up with the boy*

Boy: AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'M BEING CHASED BY A GIANT KITTEN!!!!!!

Klasina: .... Is that really what Kitty looks like? I thought she looked like a panther.

Me: Me too. Apparently not.

Kitty: *runs ahead of the boy and blocks his way* It would be so nice if I could jump on him without hurting him....

*Kitty's action causes everyone to run into each other and turn into a pile of squished people*

Klasina: Owwwwwwww...... I liked Tynx's idea better....

Kitty: *glares from somewhere near the bottom* Well, I caught him and Tynx didn't, so there.

Klasina: Still liked his better.

Tynx: My idea? [Walks up to the boy] You should start talking. No use running anymore. Where is everyone?

A black and grey striped cat crawls out from an abandoned house. "Can you keep it down? I'm trying to sleep." The cat, Rambo, returns to his nap, not even bothering to return to the house.

Tynx: [Pokes Rambo's side] Can you help us? We're treasure hunters, and we're trying to find out where everyone is. Do you know?

Rambo: *claws lazily at the finger, opening one eye to a slit* The townspeople said something about a dragon named Smog, or something. They also said the statues touch you and send you back in time, or something. I wasn't really paying attention. I never really pay attention until lunch time.

Rambo: *laughs* Just kidding. Everyone's out on a picnic.

Tynx: [Pokes Rambo again] Do you know this boy? [Nods to the boy] He ran away from us when we called to him.

Rambo: *leaps back in horror* AGH! MONSTER! *dies laughing after seeing everyone's faces* He's the mayor's son. He's supposed to be returning for the egg salad. Yet, I see no egg salad in his hands. Interesting. *begins to purr thoughtfully*

Klasina: Yeah, cutting through houses and coming around to catch him instead of making a big pile of squished characters.

Me: I think that one would have ended similarly.

Kitty: *shifts into a human* What's your name, Mayor's son, and why don't you have the egg salad???

Me: You really would not make a very good interrogator.

Kitty: Are you just going to sit there and make sarcastic comments all day? Aren't you supposed to be asleep?

Me: Yeah. Which is why I'm only doing sarcastic comments today. If I wasn't asleep, then I'd be making you two behave.

Kitty: Uh-huh.

Klasina: We're behaving!

Kitty: Badly.

Klasina: We're being good!

Kitty: Yeah right. You're being a brat.

Klasina: You're calling names!

Me: *headdesk*

Rambo: *blinks at the shape-shifting cat (which was now a human), then blinks again* Did I forget to mention he can only say "AAAAAH! I'M BEING CHASED BY A GIANT KITTEN!"? That's all he can say. So he can't answer your question. Sorry.

Celia: I'm getting bored...
Me: Ah, zee Gestapo... Care to step inside, Fraulein?
Celia: ... I wonder what's going on in there.

Zach: Why could that be?
Max: Maybe he's under a spell!
Zach: That doesn't sound like a good thing...
Max: We should totally go catch him and examine him.
Zach: Erm...
Loud bells suddenly begin to ring, seeming to vibrate the ground beneath their feet. The characters jump, clap their hands over their ears, and look around frantically for the source of the sound that seems to be coming from all around them.
Suddenly, scores of people appear, flooding the town, but they don't look friendly; they are carrying weapons and torches, and they look ever more intimidating in the increasing twilight as they surround the characters.
Max: This can't be good...
A large man with a big, fluffy black beard and a strange hat steps forward.
Large man: What do you want here?
Max: *thinks* Maybe we shouldn't tell them about the treasure we're looking for. They'll take it for themselves. *talks* We were just exploring.
Large man: Exploring the private village of the Buanahomians?
Zach: Private..?
Large man: Were you aware that trespassing in the private village of the Buanahomians is an offense punishable by death?
Max: I'm sure none of us were aware. Now, if you'll excuse us, we'll just be going, and you'll never see us again-
Large man: Going? Ha! I laugh. Guards, throw them in the dungeon! All of them!
Guards seize all the characters-even the dragons-and toss them in underground cells, so secure that even the dragons cannot break out. The only hope for them now is someone on the outside...

There, that should make up for my lack of being here for the past... forever. Let me know if y'all don't like this.

Me: Tynx behind bars.... should be interesting. Last time he was behind bars he couldn't speak.

Tynx: [Claws at his captors violently before being thrown into the cell] I'll rip every one of you to shreds! I will! And whoever pulled my tail will pay dearly! [Shifts back into a fox and starts to pace in frustration, then runs at the door, smashing into it] You'll never take me alive!!!

Rambo: There, your Mayorness! The trespassers have been caught! I'll take my twenty pound cat treat reward now.

Oh, we have a villain now! Way to go, Strono!

Max: *Shakes bars* LET ME OOOOOUUUT YOU STUPID BRUTES! YOU FILTHY, DISGUSTING-
Zach: *clamps hand over Max's mouth*

Celia: Doo doodly doo doo... So very bored...
Me: No, sharks don't like gummy bears. Unless they're human...
Celia: This is getting annoying, Elizabeth. *pokes me*
Me: *sits bolt upright in sleep and yells* TO THE GAGA PIT!
Celia: *faints*

Rambo: I am not filthy. I take at least seven baths every day. *sniffs and gives a quick wink* Tata.

Tynx: [Snarls and rams into the door again] Let us out! You don't have any right to hold us here! If this was private property you should've had a fence up, or a "No trespassing" sign! You can't expect people not to enter a huge city of gold!!! [Tries to scratch Rambo through the bars] I will get you for this!!!

Zach: *struggles to keep Max's mouth covered as she tries to pull away* You know, maybe we shouldn't have gone through the weird water stuff. Or maybe it was designed to keep authors out, but they forgot about the characters that the authors created...

Rambo: *hisses at Tynx* You know, I thought a SHAPE-SHIFTER would be smarter than that... Hint, hint.

Tynx: [Snarls and slashes at Rambo again] Why you mangy, good for nothing creep! I'll rip out your fur! C'mere and you'll see how smart I am!!!! [Starts to shapeshift into a big, slender snake]

Me: He's angry.

Rambo: *speaks softly* It is not wise for one shape-shifter to attack another.

Zach: *lets go of Max and grabs Tynx's snake tail* Calm down. We have to make a plan.
Max: You flea-bitten sack of gut worms! You [SOMEHOW CENSORED BY AUTHOR EVEN THOUGH SHE IS ASLEEP]

*Rambo leaves with a last "Ta-ta, enjoy your night," and sarcastic smirk* (hope you don't mind, Strono)
*Zach drops Tynx before Tynx can turn and bite him*
Max: Okay, invisible Authorly One, I promise I'll be good now.
Zach: What's our plan?
Max: You were the one who said we needed a plan. You come up with it.
Zach: I said we needed one, yes. I didn't say I had one!
Max: You brought it up! Therefore, you should at least have an idea!
Zach: Well if you're so smart, why don't you come up with a plan?
Max: Maybe I will!
Zach: Fine!
Max: FINE! *stomps off to corner, kicks the wall, then sits heavily*
Zach: *takes a deep, calming breath, then walks over to window* Looks like we're right on the edge of a forest. If only there weren't bars over the window!

OUTSIDE
Me: Lily liver, yellow bellied son of a...one-eyed...prairdog.......
Celia: Jay, do you have any duct tape?

Suddenly a key came flying through the bars of the window. It dropped directly onto Tynx's head.

That's too easy. Unless the key doesn't even unlock the cell, and the characters save it for later just in case...

Tynx: I'll take my chances. [Springs forward, but suddenly stops and drops to the ground when Zach grabs him] Lemme at him! Lemme at him!" [Flinches when the key drops on his head] What was that?! Show yourself!!!

Me: (Overreacts just a wee bit. )

Rambo: *curls up right outside the door to take a long nap. Watches without reaction as the guards fall asleep outside the doors* Well, that's interesting.

Kitty: Can I be not captured?

Klasina: We ALL got captured, silly.

Kitty: If I wasn't captured then I could have been the one that got the key.

Klasi: Oh, fine... So Rambo, you're a shapeshifter too? I'm really starting to get creeped out by you guys.

Kitty: The key does work in the lock, guys. *turns into mouse and scrambles in through the window, being small enough to fit between the bars*

Me: *mumbles an apology for being rather absent the past week*

Tynx: Does it really? [Shifts into a human and tries the key in the lock. He twists, and the keygrinds against the mechanism inside the lock] Got it! Now, to deal with Rambo. [Shifts into his fox form and approaches Rambo] Get up, shifter.

Rambo: *opens an eye to a slit* Took you long enough.

Tynx: [Snarls, hackles raised. Then leaps at Rambo, claws unsheathed] Oh that's it!!!

Rambo: *darts into the cell* Everyone out! There's little time before someone hears the commotion. Come on, everyone run for it!

Tynx: [Collides into Rambo and pins him against the wall] We're not falling for that again. You got us stuck in here in the first place! You're going to start answering questions, or you'll find yourself with less fur than you came in with.

[If he's being too mean, by all means knock him unconscious. It should calm him down ]

Rambo: *winces as Tynx pounds him against the wall. Catches sight of guards stirring outside the cell* You really should get moving. If the townsfolk capture you out of your cells, it will be to the torture racks for all of us.

Max: *grabs Tynx by the scruff of his neck and yanks him along* COME ON. We have to get out of here!
Characters run put of the cell and turn right; after running down a hallway, the voices of angry guards echoing up the corridor after them, they finally reach a flimsy wooden door, which Zach kicks open, and they burst out into the sunlight again.

Me: I thought they were in an underground cavern city?

Rambo: This is a game, we don't need to worry over continuity. Just run! *closes door firmly after everyone gets through*

Tynx: [Struggles] Lemme at 'im! [Blinks in the sunlight] Fine. I'll leave him alone for now. We shouldn't stay all together so many of us in one place will draw attention.

Rambo: *points far in the distance* Look; treasure!

Wait, who said we're underground?
Max: *lets go of Tynx* Let's get it!
Zach: Wait! It can't be that easy. This must be a trap of some sort.

Tynx: I'm with Zach. Last time we found treasure, some of us almost got hurt, or worse.

Jamie: "And I'm definitely with Tynx on this one."

Kitty: Yup. Definitely seems too easy. We could scout it out, though, see if there are any obvious traps...

Klasina: *kicks Manda*

Me: HEY! It's not my fault I haven't been around much lately. Be good or I'll start writing again.

Klasina:

Kitty: So much for Klasi being the nice one. o.o

A loud crashing sound comes from the direction of the treasure. A light falls on a young toddler girl wearing all yellow.
"I is the goo-are-dee-in of duh tree-sure"

Tynx: [Approaches little girl cautiously] Hello. What's your name? Why are you guarding the treasure?

Little Girl: I is We-mon, like duh fruit. I gah-red the treh-sure cuz my mommy's name is treh-sure and I hope my mommy will come back to find the treh-sure.

Hmm. Should we find her mommy?

Tynx: I dunno. [To the girl] Where is your mother? Maybe we can help?

Lemon: My mommy and daddy went on vay-cay-shon and left me at home. They leaved a baby-sitter, but I runned away and wait here for Mommy to come get me.

Max: Should we ask the townsfolk about her?

Tynx: Maybe... We should probably get her back home. It's not safe for a little girl to be wandering about on her own.
