Just as a note, avatars don't need to be square, they just need to be less than 145 wide.

Oh...I thought I remembered a thingy saying 145x145. My bad!

Those are just the max. dimensions.

Am I the only one that noticed that most of the avatars from the avatar contest haven't been uploaded?

Well, with my GIT down I don't think there's actually anybody uploading avatars right now... O_O

I thought they were all uploaded. My GIT is also down.

Well, here you go. Scoll down to Vace's post where it says that all the avatars before that were uploaded, then upload the ones after it. Once someone is doing avatars again, that is.

I have done a deplorable job of keeping these all uploaded, y'all. I apologize. I am working on getting all the avatars on all forums uploaded

EDIT: I am 'back' and have subscribed to all of the avatar threads on the three forums, so uploads from now on should be much more prompt. All of the waiting avatars, including the avatar contest ones, have been uploaded. Thanks for your patience

I'm tired of being imageless, so I decided it was high time to figure this avatar business out. Forgive my technically incompetent question, but how do I go about creating an avatar and then subsequently uploading it?

There are some pictures you can chose from, but if you want to upload your own you can post it on this thread. To get one of the already uploaded avatars, you go to "New Messages" at the top of the page, then on the side you should see "Profile" click that and then there should be "Edit Avatar" and voila! Hope that helped! There may be an easier way to do it, but that's how I was told to do it.

It's okay, as long as you didn't get it from the private gallery, Tar. Some people do share avatars.

Well if I find another person already using it, I'll just switch. I liked a lot of those images and only decided on that one so I wouldn't spend 15 or 20 minutes choosing my favorite.

Like I did when I first got here, before mine were uploaded... XD
