 Oh, it's you guys, my fellow procrastinators-I mean, procastination slayers. ^_^
So...here's the deal for this week: the weekly goal is to write an essence map of a place, and we have two examples that exemplify....well, what we're gonna try and do.
We have Mama Raven's Macchu Piccu and Andrew's Samarkand as our examples.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered. The very first weekly challenge feature will be in the next newsletter! Keep your eyes peeled!

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

KILL!!! *fires AK-47 in the air*

Slayers:

Lady Katharina:
Personal Goal: Get short story ready to send to the blog team and write to Jay COMPLETE
Time Zone: CDT

Lycanis:
Weekly challenge COMPLETE
Personal goal: edit 1000 words of story and write to Jay COMPLETE
Timezone: PDT

Azlyn:

Personal Goal: Write 200 words in story
Timezone: PDT

I just thought of something to add to my personal challenge: write a letter to Jay. If I put it here, maybe it will actually get done :P.

*Tiptoes in* I kind of want to sit out this week.. Now that I am finished NaNo, I'm on a bit of a writing break. :P Ah well.

Personal Goal: Write 200 words in story
Timezone: PDT (I think, I'm out of town)

Glad you could join us Azlyn. ^_^ Three authors have a much better chance against the dragon than only two. ;)

I finished last week's challenge! I know, it's kind of late, but I thought I'd come crow about it anyhow. It's a supervillain story, for anyone who's interested. Something To Believe In
