A minion waddles in and places a tape recorder in the center of the room, then inserts a cassette and presses the "Play" button. He then proceeds to dance an incredibly executed ballet to Beethoven's 5th Symphony, bows and scurries off-then runs back to switch the tape, presses "Play," and skedaddles again.

So, I know I should be fired for this, but I'm leaving for 6 whole days!
Where am I going, you ask?
Oh wait, you didn't ask. I'm just pretending you asked, because this is a recording.

They run weekly family vacations during the summer, and the very first one is Homeschool Week, when a bunch of crazy homeschoolers get together and wreak havoc.
For those of you who don't know, this is also where I met Ciela Rose and Eli McGowan. It is my favorite place EVER, and I was praying so hard that I would be able to get the time off from work to go-and I did! Thank you Lord!!!
I have so many friends who I only get to see once a year at Sandy Cove. I'm so excited!
Oh yeah, the dates. July 1-July 6. But my boss may want to work me pretty hard for the rest of the work week when I get back, so I'm not sure how much I'll be on until work calms down and I get some rest-because likely I'll sty up until at least 3 every night, gallivanting with my homies.
I love you all and I shall miss you very much! I expect updates on anything interesting, funny, or just plain "Short would like this" that happens while I'm gone, filling up my inbox when I get back. I also expect to have a LOT to catch up on. *shakes finger* Be good. No mischief. Well, not TOO much mischief, anyway...

The minion returns, glompeths every single HolyWorlder for his mistress, retrieves the tape player, and shuffles out of the room with a bow.

I will! It's pretty much impossible not to when you're there... Just please pray that my mom will feel better before we go, and the two littlest guys won't get stomach viruses like last year.

Then I reread the sentence and my life got drastically less grim.

LOL. I wish. But if it WAS that long, I'd get on HW at least once a week. XD

I saw my friend's brother wearing an OYAN shirt, and I was like HEY! JOIN HOLY WORLDS! He gave me an ultimatum: I have to get OYAN before he gets on HW. But I think I talked him out of it. And my other two friends (they're sisters) both mentioned that they like writing, and I'm pretty sure at least one of them is at least going to try it out.

We spent the time doing fun things from home, we're hoping to go away for two weeks in November. I just stayed off HW, and the internet mostly so that I could spend the time with my family.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that's what I did at Sandy Cove. I could have gotten on the computer, but I decided not to so I could spend more time with my friends and family.
