Tynx: [Steps between Celia, Max, Christopher, Geo, Dawn, Charlotte, Scarlet, and Zach and the chest, in human form] Let's slow down a minute. You all almost got killed by that tower. Before we try opening that. [Points to chest] We need to be careful. Tadix nearly got carried away by the gem, and he got turned to stone. We don't want anyone losing limbs or anytihng, right?

Geo: That wouldn't be cool... but we can't just sit here like useless ducks!

Scarlet: Useless... ducks?

Charlotte: He's getting stupider by the second...

Celia: Wait! Didn't the gem have some sort of picture of a tower or castle on it? Maybe that can help! Who's got the gem?
Me: Finally taking initiative, are you, Celia?
Celia: Only because you're making me.
Me: I suppose that's true...
Zach: I can't help much, my powers aren't the greatest...
Me: On top of having a rather weak power (the power to control wind), his power is also transferred through a long line... It's rather hard to explain.

Me: Well, they had to know why you're not helping! He's saving it for an emergency, folks.
Celia: At least he still HAS his power... *gets grumpy*
Me: Cel, come on. Focus! Where's the gem?

Geo: Wind? Weak? We must not be talking about the same wind, dude.

Me: He's rather fond of creating twisters and such.

Scarlet: I guess we have to wait until the person with the stone posts.

Charlotte: UGH! I am NOT waiting any longer! *walks up to barrier and places hands on it* *makes grunting noises as she poisons the force field* Uhhh... I don't feel too good... *runs to a bush and pukes*

Me: That's an example of their weaknesses, Elizabeth.

Dawn: *walks towards barrier* Hey look! She was able to make a gap big enough for us to walk through!

Me: Wind in itself may not be weak, but it takes an immense amount of strength to cause a tornado. For the Empowered, at least
Zach: Oh, don't get all preachy... >.>
Me: He's rather embarrassed about that fact, as you can probably tell...
Max: *runs ahead and squeezes through gap in shield* Let's go already!

Charlotte: I think I'll just- *barfs again* -stay over here...

Geo: *chuckles to himself and squeezes through gap* Now... what do we do about this trunk?

Tynx: [Springs forward] Wait, before we- [Stops, horrified, as the gap closing, leaving Geo and Max trapped within it] Not good!

Me: Enough danger for you yet?

Tynx: Ask me again after we get them out. Alive. [Grabs up a long stick and gingerly pokes the barrier. Yelps in surprise as an electtric shock runs through it and strikes him.] Alright, no one touch the barrier for a minute. We don't want it suddenly causing them pain or anything.

Me: You're allowed to freak out, you know.

Tynx: I know. I'll freak out later.

Geo: Can you at least hear us???

Me: Yeah, we can hear you.

Geo: Well, while they're trying to get us out, we should probably try to get this trunk open...

Tynx: [Rumages through the bushes for anything he could use] Just be careful if you try to open it.

Charlotte: *walks back* And make sure you don't look through the bush I just puked in.

Max: Ha! Exciting! Finally a bit of danger!
Me: What about the tower crumbling and almost crushing us? That wasn't dangerous?
Max: I knew you'd get me out of that one, easy.
Celia: Max!
Zach: *permanent worry wrinkle that only goes away when he's sleeping grows deeper* Max, don't touch anything. Just wait, we'll find you a way out of-
Max: *runs over to chest and tugs on lid*
Celia: *can't see the details of the trunk from ten feet away* What does it look like?
Max: Like a trunk, duh. *kicks trunk, inadvertently causing a puff of black smoke to escape from the lid*
Me: Uh-oh. What have I done...
Celia: Elizabeth... What is that smoky stuff?
Me: Smoky stuff.
Zach: What does it do?!
Me: It depends on whether I'm allowed to get violent and somewhat scary or not. Talia? Aris? Manda?

Geo: What to do... what to do... I could burn it... but it could damage whatever's inside... lightning would just bounce off the barrier... I don't have the ability to poison... *paces around the small space and continues babbling out loud* water is pretty useless right now... so is grass... wait! GRASS! THAT'S IT! But I might faint... ah well, I'm still gonna wake up eventually.

Dawn: What does he plan to do with grass? Why is he gonna faint?

Me: You'll see.

Geo: *places hands on the ground* *two vines sprout and wrap around the trunk* *makes grunting noises as the vines rip apart the trunk* *faints afterwards and falls into Max's arms*

Christopher: Okay, I don't care what he says, he so fell into her arms on purpose.

Max: *drops him on purpose even though she could hold him if she so chose* Drama queen.
Celia: Hehe!
Max: *kicks chest again, more black smoke escapes*
Me: Max, you're going to suffocate yourself. And we don't even know what that smoke does! It could be poison!
Max: *ignores me and continues to violently kick chest* *breaks hinges, smoke pours out*
Me: Uh-oh.
Zach: Wait, look!
*smoke melts barrier*
Max: *stumbles out, coughing and carrying the chest* Here. *tosses chest to Zach*
Zach: *drops it*
Celia: You okay, Max?
Max: 'Course I'm okay.
Me: And you just leave Geo...
Max: Your point?
Me: Um...

Geo: *moans as he awakes* Uhhhh... what happened? *coughs* What's all this smoke?!

Charlotte: Shut your larynx and get up!

Dawn: Larynx?

Charlotte: It's a part of your throat that affects your voice.

Dawn: Okay then...

Geo: How did Max get out? *reaches out* Hey the barrier's gone!

Me: Noooo! Really??

Geo: *ignores and stands up* What's in the chest?

Max: *opens chest* It's... It's... IT'S...
Celia: What is it already?!
Max: IT IS... *pulls out a scroll and a compass* A SCROLL AND A COMPASS!!!

Dawn: Aw man! I was expecting some enchanted... thing! Besides, I already have a compass.

Me: Quit your complaining!

Scarlet: If there's a compass included, then the scroll is most probably another map. Let's find out!

Max: It's... It's... IT'S...
Zach: *grabs scroll and unrolls it* They're directions. Really... Weird... Directions. "Go against the sun until you find the froglike hill?
Celia: What?

Charlotte: Troglodites. The sun goes west, so we have to go east. Duh!

Scarlet: And find some frog mountain I guess...

Max: LET US BE OFF!!! *marches east*
Me: Wait! What if this is a trick?

Tynx: [Looks at the scroll over Zach's shoulder] Well, we could try going that direction and see where he end up. Might get us to the castle.

Zach: Or, someone might have gotten here before us and put this here as a trap...
Max: Well, we'll never know until we find out, will we?
Celia: She is way too optimistic...

Tynx: [Smiles with mischief, shifts back into fox form] That's a the joy it: You never know what's gonna happen.

Celia: That's a the joy it? I think you mean that's the joy of it.
Me: Celia, be nice. I know you're nervous, but that's no cause to be smart-mouthed.
Celia: I was just pointing out Tynx's bad grammar. Or Aris's typing mistake. Either way.
Me: Sorry about her, Aris. I scared her with all this talk of traps and now she may be rather rude without meaning to.

Geo: *prepares to sprint east* C'mon! I wanna see a frog hill! *takes off*

Celia: It's probably just extra green, or something like that.
Me: Don't MAKE me go get the duct tape from General Conversation, Celia!
Celia:
Zach: *tries not to * *takes Celia's hand and leads her onward*
Max: *yells from a quarter mile away* Come on, slowpokes!!!

Me: Oops, Typo. Good catch, Celia.

Tynx: What you said. [Runs after Geo]

Max: *runs off with Tynx and Geo*
Celia: Max! Don't get too far! There could be a trap of some sort...
Max: *calls something from far off that is unintelligible*
Zach: What?!
Max: *repeats unintelligible statement*
Celia: Come on. *runs* We better be there, just in case.

Geo: I wonder if there actually IS a trap... Maybe we should be just a bit more careful...

Me: I hence forth declare my resignation of this form. It has been a pleasure serving with all of you, and I wish you the best of adventures as you continue on exploring the land of whatever we call it. Happy hunting and God bless you all!

Dawn: Relax. Just a little flame. It'll spread and the whole puddle will evaporate. Worst thing that could happen is that your shoes will be ruined.

Max: I think Amanda kicked her dragons out... I'm not sure if Mylo or Rinabeth can, and I don't remember the names of any other dragons.
Celia: Wait, who else had dragons? I don't remember that either...
Zach: I'm tired...
Me: Sorry, those should all be labeled "Me".

Scarlet: Rinabeth still can't breath fire. And I still need a bit more training to be able to use fire and not burn down the whole forest.

Celia: Uh... How about this? *pulls out a box of matches*
Max: Or does it need to be a magical fire, or a fire conjured by certain powers?
Zach: I can help out with that if need be. *holds hand out, and a flame appears floating above it*

Dawn: Any flame will do. Go ahead Zach!

Zach: *causes flame to float toward icky stuff*

Zach: Nice shoes.
Celia: Eww, they're all gross...
