Welcome to week seven! :D

Your quest is to write a worldbuilding article on your world's history.

BONUS weekly challenge: Participate in the Sci-Fi Drabble Contest!

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter once it gets off its feet. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

On your mark! Get set! Go!!! *fires pistol*

Anyway, here are my goals for next week.

So, we get to do the bonus weekly challenge twice? Meaning: even though we already entered the contest, if we enter again this week it still counts?

Brilliant! :D

Goal: Bonus weekly challenge
Time Zone: CDT

I'm not going to set a personal goal, because nothing simple comes to mind, and I don't want to overstretch myself. :P

Now wait a minute, I'm confused (I'll use the smiley to prove it: :? ). How do you define an article about my worlds history? Could I write about a specific race's history (the way I see it, that would be part of a world's history)? If not, please explain what you mean... :beg:

Personal goal: Finish at least 4 scenes on Peter's Angel

I have a personal goal after all, courtesy of a brilliant idea last night.

Personal Goal: Finish writing a five page synopsis for my new superhero series.

Wrote the first article on Dwarf history (have to split it up, no one wants to read a 10 mile long article on dwarf history...at least I don't think anyone does... :? ). Now on to write another history...

I finished the fractal step I was on, and started my next step. I think that is good progress, considering I've figured out my character's personality type (INFP) and got some leeway made. :D

Okay, I wrote a first draft of a summary of Vadra's history, it isn't complete, really, but it touches on events from creation to (possibly) nigh-apocalyptic...does this count as an article? It's 568 words long...and it's sort of in timeline form except that I have no software for building timelines.

The synopsis isn't finished yet, but it's up to nine pages. ^_^
Still working on the whole drabble thing. I have a few, but they need to be typed up.

*Wonders if she can whip out another drabble and catch up to be not as far behind you*

Oh, and history finished! Now, about that last fractal step... *Scurries off*
