Tae: She does?!?! [Snatches hand back]

Tarkas: [Backpedals, his face pale]

Me: Boy, and to think I'm sending them both to go to war in a rebellion. You two are acting like children.

Tae: Hate to break it to you. But we are.

Me: You're 17.

Tarkas: I can claim being a child.

Me: Yeah I know you can. But Tae?

Tae: Hey, I'm not grown-up yet!

Me: Whatever. The bear won't eat you. Syl'V'Ous was only kidding.

Lyr'Ous- Yah his humor is kinda twisted. OH Tarkus 17 is it? I was ducking it out with a dragon at 15.

Syl'V'Ous- It isn't a competition.

Lyr'Ous- This kid is scared of a lazy bear!

Syl'V'Ous- Not everyone has the luxury of being insane.

Lyr'Ous- Yah I guess not... HAY!

Tarkas: [Smiles] I'm 13. Tae is 17.

Tae: [Snuggles up beside Fu'Lah] SHe's so soft.

Me: I'm beginning to wonder about her mental health. o.O

Seymour: Probably been influenced by yours.

Me:  That was out of character, Seymour. That's Mordir's job to insult my intelligence.

Aelynn: He's not here.

Me: I know. Therefore, I will be free from insults until he returns. None of you need take over.

Mylo: [Lowers head down near Catherine] Dragons are similar to your lizards, except with wings and much bigger. Like me.

Me: Don't scare her, silly.

Lyr'Ous- And I apparently double as a pack mule?

Syl'V'Ous- As a hunter I most be Light on my feet.

Lyr'Ous- Remember I was once your chieftain. -_-

Syl'V'Ous- And then you became a shepherd and gave up all claim to such titles.

Lyr'Ous- Shut up,

Syl'V'Ous- Yes my lord. Oh wait! You have no control over me know  muhahahahahahahahahaahhahaahaha!

Fu'Lah- (Quivers)

Lyr'Ous- I think that was a little to convening.

Mylo: [Looks at cat and blinks] Sometimes, even other animals confuse me.

Me: Is there anything that doesn't confuse you?

Mylo: Yes. Myself and food.

Me:Why did I even bother asking?

Mylo: [Shrugs and looks at Catherine] Do you not have dragons in your world?

Tae: [Watches Lyr'Ous and Syl'V'Ous] Do you two usually argue this much?

Tarkas: [Inches closer to Fu'Lah. Crouches down and reaches out to stroe her fur]

Tae: [Watches Lyr'Ous panic] She might not have... whatever populations those are. I think she lives in a different world than us.

Mylo: My world doesn't have dragons, except for me. At least as far as I know.

Me: Clarification: Your world doesn't have dragons period.

Mylo: Then where did I come from?

Me: My head.

Tarkas: Wait, he doesn't live in Allare?

Me: No, he doesn't. Goodness, Seymour do you not teach this boy anything?!

Seymour: Why are you asking me? You're the one who created him.

Me: Oh yeah...

Lord Roger Everett strides into the room, adjusting the bowtie of his tailored Victorian evening suit. He snaps his pocket watch shut and slips it into his pocket.

"Greetings!" he calls out. "I am Lord Roger Everett. I was invited here by my good friend Mr Samuel Starrett, and as I could not refuse an invitation to what he tells me is such a lovely place, I have come. I hope I'm not interrupting anything important."

Fu'Lah- (The humungous bear looks in Lord Everette direction grunts then lazily slumps her head back down)

Lord Roger takes Syl'V'Ous's hand. "Yes. Mutual, I'm sure." he says, then turns back to me. "Are these the kind of people you keep company with, Samuel? I may have misjudged you."

"Never seen them before in my life." I answer. "But hey, you're an adventurer. Adapt."

Lyr'Ous Not very fast on the uptake is he?

Syl'V'Ous- What do you expect; that's why rich people dress like that, they are trying to compensate for their lack of intelligence.

Lyr'Ous- Hey, watch it, I used to be a prince!

Syl'V'Ous- I rest my case.

Lyr'Ous- I'm beginning to feel offended here! In case you didn't know I'm on a first name basis with both the Emperor of the Northern Empire and High Queen of the Western Alliance!

Syl'V'Ous- You realize he is from a different world right? And remember they only let you talk to them like that because they are scared out of their wits of you Mister I am going to split a continent in half to stop a war.

Lyr'Ous- Technically that was Dia I just channeled him. (Like Moses parted the red sea)

Syl'V'Ous- Dude that's scarier!

Lord Roger looks Lyr'Ous straight in the eye. "You're beginning to feel offended? To be completely honest, I'm not sure why you should bother to be offended by Lord Fancypants. Do keep my lack of intelligence in mind. As for the insolent way you barbarians talk to your kings, that is nothing to me; several princes of India owe me their lives, and I've been honorably received at the courts of all three Christian Emperors, but I don't brag about it." Under his breath, he mutters something about the white man's burden and begins looking for company more suitable to his breeding.

Lyr'Ous- Gee I didn't meant to offend the guy I was just having a little fun at his expedience.

Syl'V'Ous- I did.

Lyr'Ous- @Syl'V'Ous

Me- Technically Lord Roger you just did brag about it and what was that about the white mans burden? Perhaps Lyr'Ous and Syl'V'Ous are not the barbarians here if you see things that way?

Fu'Lah- (Rears up on hind legs and pops me in the back of the head)

Me- Yah yah I know no fighting. But you should know Lyr'Ous was in fact a prince and a king at one point he has grown up with some of the best "Breeding" out their and has not only been tutored by one of his worlds greatest scholars Seh'Fir Ska'V but received an education at Silver Oak his worlds equivalent to Yale. Don't let his appearance and uncouth personality fool you he is indeed a highly respectable clergyman. He just likes to joke a lot and has been raised into a world of conflict (A conflict Lyr'Ous has by the way worked hard to lesson weather or not it requires him to speak disrespectfully to Kings and Queen's) As for Syl'V'Ous well just be offended just about the only noble he has any respect for is Lyr'Ous and that's more or less just as friends.

Syl'V'Ous- Wait did he just say "Christian Emperors".

Lyr'Ous- I think he did.

Syl'V'Ous- The Faith (The Church of their world) would have a field day with that!

Lyr'Ous- Well I know Ska'V would rupture a lung. I think Prophet Ald'An would probably have a heart attack for fear of the antichrist. However I chose not to worry about it remember the Faith itself has along history of rulers leaving their thrones for its service including myself.

Syl'V'Ous- Technically Imperial troops burnt our city down around us. "In order to spread civilization to the barbarians of the alliance".

Tarkas: [Nods shyly]

Seymour: Lyr'Ous, Syl'V'Ous, don't insult the man.

Me: [Pokes Seymour] I would suggest you don't get in their way. Probably woin't end well.

Seymour: I've been through worse.

Me: You have? When?

Seymour: I lost my daughter? Remember?

Me: Oh yeah...

Aelynn: Welcome, Lord Roger.

Mylo: [Sniff's Lord Roger's shoulder] Welcome.

Me: Why must my dragons sniff people?!

Seymour: You have odd dragons.

Me: Tell me about it.

Lyr'Ous- (@Seymour) I am truly sorry for your loss and in your daughters memery I will refrain from insulting Lord Roger.

Syl'V'Ous- I aint stoping. You wanna compete about loss I WATCHED MY FATHER BE BURNED ALIVE BY IMPERIAL TROOPS! AND WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MOTHER IS UNSUITABLE FOR THIS FORUM! So get over it! ill INSULT WHO i WANT WHEN i WANT.

(Fu'Lah grabs Syl'V'Ous by the leg with her teeth and flips him over onto her belly she then proceeds to spank him.)

Lyr'Ous- (LAUGHS Uncontrollably)

Me maybe that was a little over the top but I found it funny.

Seymour: Why you-

Me: Seymour, sit. Don't get involved, or I will make you leave.

Tarkas: Don't you ever insult my father! You-

Me: Tarkas! Knock it off! The bear is taking care of Syl'V'Ous so none of you need to get on him about it. Be polite and be nice.

Mylo: [Cocks his head] Humans are such odd creatures.

Me: You've said that before. Alright, Seymour and Tarkas, go sit down and chill. Now.

Lyr'Ous- So no one is at all disturbed by how smart this bear is?

Fu'Lah l;ets Syl'V'Ous down and he limps over to a corner and tries to sit down an apparently painful process.

Syl'V'Ous- (Whimpers) I'm sorry

Fu'Lah- (Looks at Seymour as if to apologize for Syl'V'Ous's horrible behavior.)

Lyr'Ous- And good for you Tarkus getting all mad at an injustice your really starting to shape up! Not only that but you had the restraint to hold back! You may just surpass me! If someone had said that about my father he/she would be eating a fireball!

Me- If anyone should leave it should be Mr. Uncouth jerk face Syl'V'Ous I figured he was too broody for all this. But No I had to feature Lyr'Ous's wing man oh its a good Idea i told myself!

Lyr'Ous- I am sorry Lord Fan- I mean Roger that you had to sit through all that normally things here don't get so intense I guess Syl'V'Ous was a bit of a ticking time bomb for this thread.

Syl'V'Ous- (Goes poof!)

Lord Roger walks over to Lady Aris's crowd, whispering to me along the way. "For your sake...refrained...entitled, but they...perilously...my sovereign, and that...ide."

I follow him, muttering back "Try...yourself. Remember...less civilized than...most remote colonies. ...not their fault. You...the gentleman."

Lord Roger takes Aelynn's hand and kisses it, the barest hint of a smile crossing his face. "Greetings. You truly have an otherworldly beauty."

He repeats the gesture for Tae. "It is truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Turning to Tarkas, Lord Roger extends his hand in greeting.

- peers about room - - raises eye-brows at foreign furnishings - - runs hands over the arms of couches and tables and other assortments of furniture -

Viarri: Good afternoon, my dear Holy Worlders. This is a very lovely room. I hope you don't mind if times when I bring Skyburner get slightly hectic. Chaos seems to follow my Bonded One and I everywhere we go. And please, excuse me if I appear at other times in rather outlandish, wild-looking, maybe even dirty clothing. Riding a dragon is not what you'd call a fancy or relaxing or necessarily clean thing to do. ;)

May all the stars shine down upon you and the Weaver of the Thread of Fate bless you without ceasing.

- sits down on blue couch and plays with pale green emerald strung on the chain of the necklace that Htogarh gave her -
-sighs and watches other Holy Worlders as they chat, quite content -

Viarri: - rises and curtsies - May the Weaver shower you with prosperity. Pleased to have made thy acquaintance, Antreo. - smiles warmly -

Seymour: [Walks over to Syl'V'Ous] I should apologize to you, as well. I shouldn't have gotten so angry. I am sorry.

Tarkas:Thank you. But I felt about ready to strangle someone.

Me: Note to self, do not let the boy out of sight during battles.

Tarkas: I'm not going to kill anyone! Do you think a 13 year old boy could kill a grown man?

Me: Depends. Is he sleeping?

Mylo: Aris!

Me: I'm kidding!

Aelynn [Blushes] You are too kind, sir.

Tae: [Giggles and blushes, too] Likewise, sir.

Tarkas: [Smiles and shakes Lord Roger's hand] It's a pleasure to meet you, sir.

Tae: Hi Viarri! [Waves]

Mylo: [Sniffs Viarri] You-

Me: Really? Again with the sniffing? You are not a dog, Mylo.

Mylo: [Huffs and ignores] You have a dragon?

Viarri: I do. - smiles - And I am sure he would very much like to meet you all. But, well... - chuckles - he ate too many pine-trees this day and is not feeling particularly well, because of it. - turns to Mylo - I see that the rumors of water dragons being the most exquisite dragon (If it is even possible to fathom any dragon being more beautiful than the ones you have met) are true.
And Hello, Tae. And everyone else too. :D It is very good to have made your acquaintances. -gives a slight bow of the head -

Me: Jelly beans anyone? :D

*Ciela comes in and unceremoniously dumps two humans, a shapeshifter, and a dragon into the mix*

Thysal (the ice dragon)- *straightens up and shakes, looks around* Oh no. Not again. I thought they banned the character intros?

Zanya (the Felanai shapeshifter) - This isn't Character Intros. *flicks her tail and runs a hand through her thick black hair* Umm . . . Hi everyone!

Vala (petite human female) - *Goes over to Viarri* Hello! Where are you from, if you don't mind my asking?

Thysal - *Looks up and recognizes Seymour. Trots over and sniffs his head* I know you!

Me - It's been a while, so I'm a bit rusty at character role playing. Dawnbringer, I have to say, I love your characters' names! :)

Lyr'Ous- Greetings all! @ Lord Roger I think I have something for you. He hand him a cane it looks as if it is made from ivory and silver it also has a grove near one end where it can be pulled out. It is customary in the alliance to give gifts to those you have offended. Mumbles Even...joke...seriously... It is a cane sword given to me by an imperial general. However I have no need for such a thing and you look like a man who would like to appear "gentlemanly" As they say in the Empire. You wont be able to pull out the blade her do to the no weapons policy. @Viarri Wait Are you Dragon riders! only the highest orders of Knight may ride dragon in the alliance it is a great honer!

Mylo: [Dips his head] You are very kind, m'lady. [Is doing a terrible job of hiding how pleased he is]

Me: I like jelly beans!

Mylo: You like any candy.

Me: False, and you know it.

Seymour: [Smiles as Thysal approaches] Welcome back, Thysal. It is good to see you. Are you and the others well?

Tarkas: Father knows her?

Aelynn: Thysal and the others used to be in a different thread with many other characters. It was possibly crazier there than it is here.

Me: Because we smooshed everything into it. Duels and all. And dodgeball!

Seymour: And those rebellions you let Mordir start, almost getting a few people killed.

Me: [Sniffs] I didn't know he would get that insane, OK? You gotta admit, though-

Seymour: I'm admitting nothing. That rebellion almost got Shawn killed.

Me: Oh yeah.

Mylo: Chayn probably wasn't happy.

Me: No, she wasn't. She went nuts. o.O

Me: - gives Aris Jelly Beans -

Viarri: - grins pleasantly at Vala - I am from Issedrae. But, you probably have never heard of it, since it is far away world. - curtsies - Am pleased to have met you. - turns to Antreo - And thank you, sir.

Me: - picks up small pebble and throws at Viarri - Come say hi to Aris!

Viarri: Curtsies in Aris's direction - Greetings, Aris, Lady of Lilies and Light. - smiles warmly - - turns to DawnBringer - Aye. I am what you call a dragon rider... sort of. Where I am from we are called Cloud Warriors. We are people who share a special bond with dragons. It starts when you have been sent the gift of a dragon by its mother. The mother of a dragon has a special, magical power; to either have the egg where she is, or, if she is in some sort of danger, can magically send the egg to a secret place where it will be safe, which she has no idea of where it is, because the egg is guided by The Weaver of the Threads of Fate (or God as you call him.) or to some unknown person, who will protect and care for it. I was sent Skyburner, my dragon, and my uncle Yathri, who was skilled in magic, taut me the Magic Words of Birth, which must be spoken to a dragon by either its mother, or, when she has sent it to someone, only that someone can. So the egg hatched. And Yathri bonded Skyburner and I. A very, very special bond too. We can hear each other's thoughts, no matter how far away we are. Also, I could tell what Skyburner wanted to say. Of course, I wasn't the only one who could. When I traveled to the elven woods, many of the elves had had a much the same bond worked on them, only, not only to Skyburner, but to all dragons, humans, dwarves and fairies. Only they had to be within a mile to attempt contact.
Oh dear! - laughs - I am probably boring you all, rambling on like this! - rolls eyes - Stop me next time, Laura!

Me: - chuckles -

Viarri: - laughs at something Skyburner said and sits down on a wicker chair -

Zanya - Yep. Definitely a LOT calmer than the original thread. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Thysal - We're all well, Seymour. How about your friends? Did that guy just call you Father? You're a dad? *walks over and sticks muzzle in Tarkas's hair and sniffs* Hmm.

Zanya - Easy, ice-breath.

Vala - *skips a few dance steps* Issedrae is a lovely name. I've never heard of it though . . . but I haven't really travelled beyond the city limits of Kerra. I've never had the chance. Have you travelled much? *waves at Antreo* Hello!

Me - My characters are all active today. Except Zanya.

Zanya - *shifts into a large feline, gives an exaggerated yawn, then curls up in a ball*

Me - Funny.

Viarri: - returns to room in a green tunic, leather-riding-vest, tall, leather boots, and her hair flying loose about her shoulders. Her face is alight with satisfaction, as it always is when she has gone flying -

Htogarh: - follows close behind Viarri, striding in with a grin on his face -

Skyburner: - follows and is surprised that the doors are wide enough for him to get in. Is wearing a huge, leather saddle on his scaly, green back. -

Viarri: Good morning everyone! - scratches under Skyburner's lower jaw -

Skyburner: - peers at all the people, and blinks coolly in acknowledgement of each one -

Viarri: I would like you all to meet my good friend and companion, Htogarh.

Htogarh: - bows and smiles - Greetings to you all.

Viarri: - seats herself on a couch -

Htogarh: - sits down next to Viarri -

Skyburner: - curls up behind the couch, his head coming up along side Viarri's arm of the couch. -

Viarri: So, how are you all today?

Skyburner: - stands and walks over to Thysal, sniffs, and nuzzles in a friendly fashion, turns to Mylo and does the same -

Me: Jelly beans!

Mylo: She will be occupied for a long time.

Me: Har har har.

Seymour: We are well. At least three of us are off dueling or treasure hunting, I believe.

Me: Funny it's the ones of mine that talk the most.

Seymour: Yes, he did. Tarkas is my son.

Tarkas: [Smiles, then jumps in surprise when Thysal sniffs him] Hello. [Reaches up and strokes her muzzle]

Me: [Aside] Tae is also his child, but none of them know it yet.

Mylo: [Somewhat cautiously sniffs Thysal] You know these two-legged beings?

Viarri: Good! :D

Skyburner: - chuckles - Then you will probably be getting a lot of blabbing. Viarri has a hard time shutting up. :P

Viarri: Hey! D:

Htogarh: - stifles laugh -

Viarri: AHEM! Does everyone think I talk too much? - smiles curves at corners of mouth -

Htogarh: Well not as much as some people I know... But... Well, you do to talk a bit too long sometimes...

Viarri:  Well, thank you for letting me know. Stop me next time!

Thysal - I can smell the family resemblance. *nudges Tarkas in a friendly manner*

Vala - *wanders a short ways away and cheerfully observes everything from a safe distance*

Me - *trots off to read the introductions*

Thysal - *sniffs Mylo in return* The two legged ones aren't bad. Just beware the ones with the evil laughter and the capes and the strange magical powers, and you'll be fine. Also, try to avoid saddles.

Zanya - Like you would know.

Thysal - Hello, Skyburner. Must say, I love your name. *nuzzles in return* We should start a thread for dragons exclusively. Flying, fighting, wrestling, discussing . . . What say you two?

Me - I hope that's not too . . . um, exclusive . . . *goes to read rules*

Zanya - You're all over the place, author.

Skyburner: Thank you. your name intrigues me as well. - blinks - The thread for dragon's sounds as an excellent idea! - is rather excited -

Viarri: - nudges Skyburner -

Skyburner: Oh yes, My human, will probably want to come along. She tends to go everywhere I go, if you know what I mean. Oh and on the subject of saddles, what world are you from? Because I would much rather have a saddle than have Viarri riding me bareback. Her sword poking me and all. Besides, she would probably fall off with out one. And I enjoy our rides together.

Viarri: - Grins - Not near as much as I do.

Htogarh: It is really quite an experience, riding dragons. - sighs in an almost dreamy fashion - I'd always dreamed of flying. Then it came true!

Viarri: - nods - QUITE and experience.

Skyburner: It has been a long time since I had the pleasure of wrestling with my fellow dragons. I would quite enjoy a whole room for dragon-time.

Tarkas: [Smiles] You can smell family resemblances?

Mylo: Those kind of two-legged ones sound like nasty folk. I suspect my author has one.

Me:

Mylo: Saddles? Those strange things horses wear? I've seen them around the lake sometimes, they look terribly restrictiung, no good at all for water.

Me: You, sir, are perhaps the oddest dragons I've ever made.

Mylo: I take great pride in being odd, thank you.

Me: Not the response I expected. o.O

Mylo: I like the idea. It would be interesting to meet other dragons. I've only met Chayn, Skyburner, and Thysal.

Mylo: Tilts his head] Merashath? I think I've heard Chayn mention him...

Me: I'll bet you did.

Mylo: There's a story behind why she sounded so angry, isn't there?

Me: Long story short: Mordir started a rebellion and it all went crazy.

Seymour: What doesn't go crazy around here?

Me:... Good point.

Viarri: - grins - So very true! :D

Htogarh: I can't decide if that will be a good thing or not...

Viarri:  Don't worry. You'll survive... Even if you have to go through some odd, random deaths first.

Htogarh: o.O That didn't make much sense.

Skyburner: - chuckles - Viarri hardly ever does.

Viarri: Excuse me?

Me: *Enters, dragging a reluctant character behind her*
Phaidra: What? What am I doing here? Don't tell me-
Me: *Aside to Phaidra* Oh, be cooperative for once and introduce yourself.
Phaidra: *Stares at ground and blushes*
Me: Sorry about that. This is Phaidra. She's a little bit shy...
Phaidra:
Me: But I'm sure she will come around.*Glares at Phaidra*
Phaidra:
Me: Eventually.

Charlotte: WHY MUST YOU ALWAYS BE SUCH AN IMBECILE?!?!

Geo: No need to be like that. Just because I have the superior intelligence doesn't mean you have to feel intimidated about admitting your love for me!

Charlotte: Wha... WHAT?!

Me and Scarlet in unison: CUT IT OUT YOU TWO!!

Me: Sorry about them... y'all are just gonna have to get used to this...

Celia: *hangs back as Zach knocks on the door*
Zach: Oh come on! It's going to be fun!
Celia: I don't know any of these people.
Me: Well, you're going in whether you like it or not, Cel.
Zach: Yeah, might as well go willingly.
Me: It would be very wise to go willingly. I do dictate your every move, after all. *causes Celia's arm to raise and knock on the door*
Celia: HEY!
Zach:  *opens door*
Me: ;) Told you.
Celia: Fine, fine, I'll go! *pushes Zach ahead of her* Eventually.
Zach: *takes Celia's hand and pulls her along* Come on, it'll be fi-*sees the various dragons* Uh...
Celia:
Me: Don't worry, they won't hurt you. Probably.
Celia: Er... Probably?!
Me: That is what I said, is it not?
Zach: Let's just, uh, stand over here, out of the way...
Celia: You said this would be fun!
Me: And it will be!
Zach: *whispers to me* I hope so, because otherwise she's going to be grouchy.
Me: *whispers to Zach* Oh, don't worry. I know these people. *normal voice* Y'all will have a great time!

Scarlet: *goes over to Celia, dragging an annoyed and red-eyed Charlotte behind her* Hi! Don't feel frightened, everyone is really nice! :D *nudges Charlotte to say something*

Charlotte: Yeah whatever. I just hope you're not as stupid as that guy. *gestures towards Geo, who is flirting with Phaidra*

Me: Charlotte, at least try to be less...

Charlotte: *glares at me with red eyes before I can finish my sentence*

Me:
