I may want to do the August one. I have one novel in particular that has recently started to brew in my mind... It's a Historical Fiction idea I got from doing a Bible study with Dad... which (the study) was inspired by a post Lycanis made... This is not the Roanoke story that I've put on hold. It's a new one that I think will hold my own interest longer than the Roanoke one, so hopefully it may become a real novel.

I've never done NaNoWriMo, partly I think because it was in November, and now putting it in June and August make it much more doable! I had no idea they turned into a summer thing, too. *will talk to Mom about entering soon*

I will. I did it unofficially last year, and finished my novel with a solid 30k words.

Is June when this starts? *doesn't know much about Camp NaNoWriMo* I think I want to edit Pandemic during it (as if I were participating at least).

Well, since I'm going to be writing around 50k words in June and August anyways, I might as well participate.

Although for June I won't be focusing on only one novel. I'll be working on three different ones, but mostly The Girl on the Swing and Above the Gray Skies.

For August I plan on writing a Science Fiction novel called Blackwood City, which is going to be a lot of fun to write. I'm not sure it'll be long enough, but if it's not, I'll continue with False Gods. (Since I plan on finishing Above the Gray Skies and The Girl on the Swing in July.)

You can't make another account for NaNoWriMo using the same email, sadly. That's why it says it has already been taken.

Oh, is that how it works? Maybe a bunch of HWers should pick eachother to assure that we'll all likely have a fellow HWer in our cabin to protect us from all the Summer camp pranks.

Trust me, you don't want pranks. Turned over furniture, frozen shower heads, toilets that wouldn't work, unscrewed lights, frozen underwear (all from different cabins, not just mine). Not so very fun.

I'm writing but not "competing" as in not creating an account.

So another mod suggested that we make a thread specifically for June in Quests, since this one is more about "Who's Competing in General" and not "Goals, plans for poking for June". Then have another one for August when the time comes. Mods, what do you think? (And we usually do NaNo threads in Quests.)
