The Avatar Contest!

Welcome to the 1st Avatar Contest!

It starts today (March 28th), and ends on April 14th. People may enter avatars (They must follow the avatar rules), of an unlimited number, and at the end of the timeframe, judges will determine who's avatar is the best. The picks will be for quality, color and contrast, plus creativity. Prizes are for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place; those three people get to pick a novel donated by some authors from HolyWorlds!
The three sites will be judged separately, as Historical Fiction and Sci-Fi are extremely different from each other and Fantasy. Themes are available as a suggestion.

Questions? Note, all avatars must be no larger than 145x145 pixels. The avatars will be uploaded to the gallery after contest.

Also, here is a list of possible theme suggestions for inspiration. Purely optional, of course, no pressure. I chose themes that could be approached from a wide variety of angles so as to be useable for all three forums. Have fun!

Here's my first one:

You can put it in whichever contest you want, HWF/HWSF/HWHF.

It's much easier/faster to make them when I don't have an essence map,
so I'll probably contribute several.

Preferably 145px by 145px, but you can do less if you want to. That is the maximum on avatar sizes.

Don't forget that you can also do Sci Fi themed ones, and Historical themed ones; but they do have to be submitted on the Sci fi and HF threads, not over here.
