Either it is an April's fool joke, or it's not.

I think it will be like a film on it's own if they do do it; I don't think it will ruin Narnia exactly.

*is trying to decide why... *

I'm a big Narnia fan. However, I'm just not sure I follow...

It could be a joke, though. :D

Well...I'm trying to explain why...

Um...partly because the Muppets are just plain crazy and that doesn't fit Narnia at all...it's like having Curious George in Middle-Earth (except that wouldn't be as bad, because Curious George rocks)....Hmmm....It's like putting the power puff girls in Middle-Earth, can't you see how that's just plain wrong?

I guess that is personal opinion, then. I grew up on the Muppets and love them.

The Power Puff Girls are very different, by the way. Story lines are very different.

I didn't say I didn't like the muppets (they are crazy, but that is pretty hilarious most of the time, sorry I miscommunicated there). And I know it's personal opinion, what isn't?

Yes, that's the point, they don't fit into Middle Earth, and Muppets don't fit into Narnia, they just don't, it isn't natural.

Power Puff Girls have no substance; that is why they don't belong in Middle Earth.

I suppose for me, I don't reverence Narnia to the point where it must remain untouched. Lots of people spin spoofs off of a movie or book, and it has a sort of sweet reminiscence for those of us who loved a, or b (in this case Narnia or the Muppets).

Aspects of fantasy in and of themselves are not natural, so having something unnatural in a world that has “portals” to it… doesn’t seem that strange to me.

I agree, I'm glad they finally fell out of popularity for the most part.

I can see what you mean there, but I think it wouldn't be that great in this case. (shrugs)

I can confirm that this is an April Fools joke. The Narnia page always does April Fools jokes, and this has the little thing after it saying April Fools. Don't worry about it. As an April Fools, I find this quite hilarious. :D
