A bent figure leaning heavily upon a mud-stained staff silently crossed the border of Holy Worlds. His clothes were tattered and torn where they showed beneath his armor. He brushed a lock of stray hair from his face as he paused to take in the beautiful sight of the much missed landscape. The pilgrim saluted to a sentry, who raised his eyebrows at the sight of the battered armor. There were several broken off arrow shafts sticking from the breast plate, scorch marks showing that they had once been blazing. What was left of the unrecognizable character’s shield was barely in one piece, and there were several portions missing.
The hooded and cloaked man continued on his way, until the trail led him to the doorway of a small hut. The man paused once more and sighed at the welcome sight of home, and from around the corner of the shack he heard the shrill cry of his companion, Gold Eye. The Ardh’ura galloped around the shack and gently nudged her master, who nearly collapsed from the slight impact. She cocked her head to one side and raised her crest feathers, grunting a welcome that said, I told you I should have come with you! The young pilgrim smiled and patted her on the head before entering the cabin. He closed the door behind himself and collapsed on to the floor, careful to turn onto his back to avoid pushing the arrows the rest of the way through his armor. It was time for much needed rest. Suddenly he remembered a task that needed doing, and slowly rose to his feet. He removed his muddied cloak, his sword belt, and battered armor, and then sat down at the table next to the lonely window. Picking up a quill pen he began to write.
Fellow citizens of Holy Worlds! It is with great joy that I now write this letter announcing my return from the land of Academia. I am not as battered and defeated as my looks may suggest, but my armor could use a good blacksmith. The arrows of Evolutionary Theory, Immoral Behavior, and Foul Language managed to punch small holes in the metal, but didn’t make it past the lining. Ah! But I digress! I am pleased to be back as an active member, and you can expect some more activity from me. I had lots of ideas while away and perhaps I may have enough details to start a sub forum for my world. I see that my little place here didn’t get torn down by the celebrations that most assuredly happened while I was away, so I will get to work as soon as I can! But first, some much needed Irish Fiddle Music!
::Picks up fiddle and starts to play a lively jig:: “Feel free to join in!”

One more thing: Meien Odaea meien Eidír Odav Esíl! I will never desert my king

Before I get carried away with the celebration of completing my final term at the community college, I should note that my name is changed, I was formerly Esílis, but when changing my name to support our king, the computer told me my name contained illegal characters... So now my name is Novadar.

Praise God! I hear those arrows can be very dangerous...

Thanks to everyone! It means a lot to me to know I have been missed. It has been hard refraining from posting ideas to the forums, I will try to get something up soon, but no guarantees. I just got back from a church retreat this weekend.
