Thanks. I'll be working on a challenge to see how well I can keep Dick Elden in character as well through a series of shorts in different genres that are under 2500 words each.

Dude, that sounds like an awesome challenge. Will you post the results?

Update on my own goal... I conferred with my proofreader (Evening! ) about dates, and I've figured out that I can shift my deadlines for Peter's Angel a bit, which will be a lifesaver. My new goal is to finish the revision by mid-April ideally - end of April at the absolute latest.

I need to finish Penalty by the end of May, preferably in less time. So...by May 20th, for an estimated novel length of 40 - 55 thousand words. ^_^

I've finished the big tweaks on Firmament, and I think I'm done formatting, so now it's down to just waiting for my parents to finish it and seeing if they have big changes to propose, before I line edit and run over it with a fine-toothed comb.

Oh, Vivace, Vivace, you poor misguided soul. Do you not realize that I have strong connections with all three of your siblings? You cannot hide from the Leah. It simply isn't possible.

Yay! *loves that Firmament news to bits* :dieshappy:

They don't know my email password. And yes, I can hide from The Leah (insert fake awe and fear ;) ). **jumps through crack in time and space** This crack picks a random spot in the universe which changes every five minutes.

Who needs your email password when they can just walk across the room and smack you upside the head? I mean really!

Yeah, good luck with that. You have fun in that crack of doom. Just don't forget to write while you're down there.

I am happy to report I was a good girl and broke through some struggles I was having. 1,425 is what I managed to get done. In hindsight that does not sound like a lot, but it was. :P I spent all day on it.

Tomorrow is another day. *is tired *

Many times the word count of our progress is irrelevant. What matters is the difficulty and effort put into it. Been there, done that with Peter's Angel. So I understand, Airianna, and am really happy for you. :D

*chuckles * It's more that I want Jonathan to be happy with me than be kind and say "Well, I know you would have gotten it done if you could, try harder tomorrow", Grace. :D

Yes, that is true, Philli. Thank you. :D

*grins at Elanor * All progress brings you one step closer to reading the last book and satisfying your curiosity that has built up over the last two books, right. ;)

Yes, I know what you mean there, Airi. :D *thinks about eating* o.O ;)

I've been brainstorming on Chroma some, in addition to polishing up Firmament.

*comes in grinning like the Cheshire Cat *

2,804 words today, bringing my second chapter up to 4,219 word. :D Not done yet, I probably need another 2,000 words to finish off this chapter, but things are still going and I am still making progress. :D

Now I have to go finish putting the final touches on Bethy’s questions for the podcast tomorrow.

Let's meet on chat (or a forum thread, or a phone call, or whatever...) sometime and brainstorm. :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Yes, you should do a podcast about that! I'd want to hear it since I write really long books too. Or what I write tends to be long winding.

I have a really busy week ahead with my dog grooming, so I'm not sure how much writing I'll get done. We'll see. I know I have Friday free at the moment, so hopefully I can devote that day to writing.

*Tiptoes in*

I have not really been working on True Freedom. About a week ago I took a moment to think about what makes this story different from other stories about slavery in America. The answer: Pretty much nothing. There's nothing really unique or special that sets this story apart from others about slaves escaping from slavery. That led to a roadblock. So while I am mulling over that one, I'm working on developing my more unique and special ideas. It bugs me not having an idea in the first draft stage to work on, though. :P

@Zlynny: I hope, then, that you'll get inspired with another idea. I know how that's going, as I haven't written, really written, since January...

But.

I have a new project. I will need encouragement and accountability. It's another fantasy novel set in Zoriah, and similar in a couple ways to Crissa. :D (More details to come.)

**sigh** The last few days haven't been going real well, writing-wise. :P I did reach 7,014 words today though. :dieshappy: It's not as much as I'd hoped, but still...7k is a lot....

There's your report...So don't attack me with feathers or sticks!

We all go through rough times writing-wise. Sometimes we need to set a project aside, whether it be for days or months, and focus elsewhere. So don't be discouraged, y'all. :D

@Elly - Details? :beg:

*Feels guilty and decides to also tiptoe in to report*

Umm....soooo...:P .... I haven't really been writing a lot lately, until this week. I'm on chapter five now. Today I decided I would make an outline for each chapter so I can get up to where I can edit more. I am trying to do a chapter a week now...we shall see how that goes...

*Runs away*

And I'm busy Friday now as well, but I have the afternoon free so I'll write in the afternoon some. :)

I didn't get much writing done this week. Next week I currently have Wednesday and Thursday completely free, so I intend to spend those two days writing.

Well, Cammie's edits and notes are all done for her book, so I can scratch that off the list. I am 2/3rds of the way done with chapter two (the book totals 11,800 words at the moment), so I am making progress... I just hope I can get it, and a chapter three, done before the 10th like I planned. I had to take a break for a bit, for personal reasons.

One week to go.

Oh! and I got lots of edits done today, for various places in the trilogy that I had marked to do. :D
