Hello all, been a while since I've worked on my fantasy project (and been on HW, for that matter!), but I finally got around to working on a map of the land of Delantare.

Love to hear your feedback. :)

You might try making the colors brighter, with more difference between each terrain type. Just a thought. Otherwise, it's a neat map!

Thanks! It's all done in Photoshop. As far as coming up with the geography, I took a map of Russia, flipped it upsidedown and backwards and started tracing it, leaving out random bits to get a unique shape that I liked. I borrowed a lot of the contours from the Russia map, making changes sometimes at random, sometimes deliberately to fit the geography I wanted for the story.

Cool! That's a neat way to come up with a continent...that's always a hard part for me.

Ooh, that's neat, Delantare! :D I've always hand-drawn my maps, so mine aren't nearly as impressive as this. :)
