Mordir: [Thrusts at his arm, then slices across his middle] It would seem so sometimes. But no, my follow doom wherever it goes. And today, boy, it has found you!

Jay: * grimaces in pain as the dagger cuts him * * drops his own weapon, steps on the flat of Mordir's sword and pins Mordir's dagger-hand to the wall *

Jay: * twists to the side so that Mordir's blow doesn't hit so hard * * attempts to knee Mordir's ribs while gripping Mordir's shoulder *

Mordir: [Winces, then slams his elbow into Jay's neck] Let go before I strangle you.

Me: Everyone enjoys stuff when they don't lose. But yes, They do seem to be enjoying it.

Mordir: Nothing.

Jay: * grunts loudly * * gasps for air and tries to shove Mordir off of him *

Me: Nyrians are a kind of mermiad, in Allare. the reference comes from sailors who see them jumping out of the water very high in the air, making them look like they're flying.

Mordir: [Slashes at Jay] I don't quit.

Jay: * kicks the hilt of the sword/Mordir's hand * "Well. Neither do I."

Jay: * shoves Mordir off of him, and attempts to pin his arms to his chest *
